  • @berettagt88 I wish my GTU was a five speed but I still enjoy it. I love the digital dashes. This is one major reason why I prefer the GTU and INDY over the other Beretta's. My GTU currently has about 175,000 miles so it still has plenty of life.

  • things gay

  • looks great!

  • has the engine been rebuilt? if it has, did they or whoever built it up, did they use moly piston rings? just want an idea if thats what is wrong with mine, because when i gun it, it blows blue smoke like a diesel does black smoke. just need an idea, thanks, and btw, what kind of muffler do you have on there?

  • @mmfwcl1717 This engine has never been rebuilt. All original. It has about 83,000 miles. If it is blowing blue smoke it might be the piston rings. On the video the car has a tenzo R muffler.

  • @jjfelixjj432575 My 94 Sunbird 3.1V6 has 193,000. It has blown a head gasket once. That was the most serious malfunction. 3.1s are known to leak oil at the rear. Mine was the intake gasket of all things. Electric in-tank fuel pump quits like clock-work at about every 4 years. Change it if you can hear it. Also the fuel pressure regulator recently ruptured and the car would turn but not fire, with a strong smell of fuel. It's under the intake plenum on the fuel rail.

  • @JetMechMA Also the transmission lock-up solenoid malfunctioned by getting stuck in "Lock-up" mode. It felt like it was stuck in third gear. Would not downshift. Car stalls and can't get started again in lock-up mode. Temp fix is to disconnect the electrical connector at the side of the transmission which will allow you to drive in all three gears but without the lockup mode. Doesn't hurt a thing The Torque Converter Clutch solenoid TCC solenoid is under the trans side cover. One bolt, easy fix.

  • Wow yours looks like new! I have an 87 that I got from my step mom's family, and it was parked out in the sun for around 7 years. The dash was cracked, paint was terrible. I got it running (all it needed was an alternator) and got it a nice paint job and it looks great. Got a dash cover for now.

I was just wondering, what is that piece called in the back (trunk) above the word beretta? It is screwed into the trunk. Older models had a rubber one and mines jacked up. Looking to find a new one...

  • @Southpark124 I think it is the upper clear filler panel. If you see this car in person you can tell right away it needs a paint job.

  • @jjfelixjj432575 Thanks man! Helped me a lot! Will be a lot easier to find with results now.

  • NICE CAR BRO....!! (Y)

  • @KAVALIERZ24 Thanks. Car looks a little diffrent now. It now has the Z26 kit. When I have time I will post my other beretta. the other I got is a GTU.

  • Really???? That's awesome!!! That pretty much Made my day. Did you have to mess with thd interior?? I have to get that done 2.

  • @Brian19936 In my car I had to replace the back seat (Only the one for your back was torn), the 2 front seats I just changed the cloth ( Can't tell in the video I have covers), and my door panels. If I had to guess on the cost it would be $60. The amount you spend in the interior depends on how bad the interior is. • Daaaaaaangdude you're lucky...I have a 1992 chevy beretta. It's black, an dark red on thd bottum. I wanna trick it out like yours, but looks expensive =/

  • @Brian19936 To have the car they way I have it is not that expensive. The body kit cost me $70, Hood vent $10 pair (need to install the other), rims $500 with tires, and I think that is all the mods. For the Motor I just bought a spray can that can stand heat. Other than that it takes time.

  • that is sweet

im asking you, please take good care of that berettas are slowly being killed off by rust and road salt

  • @khammett12 Thanks. Don't worry I am a beretta fanatic and I am not going to damage my car. This car has no rust. Yet. Are you a Beretta fanatic yourself? are you a member on bstuff or beretta.net?

  • @khammett12 I got a corsica for my daily, im a K-car fanatic, so they dont see winter how ever my corsica sees the salt, but I wash it 3-4 times a week, has 170,000 up here in the rust belt and was from texas, so its rust free
