Ladies, NEVER let a man hit you. I was just recently assaulted by my boyfriend, again. I was with him for 2 years and I let him get away with abusing me one too many times. And THIS TIME was the LAST TIME. He ended up hitting me very hard in the ear causing hearing loss and ruptured ear drum and I may have to go into surgery next week. Drunk asshole. And ladies, drinking is NO excuse either! Thanks to Celine and Moody for producing this song supporting the victims.

I remember about a year and a half ago. I had left my own abuser. I remember being the hospital. I was in so much pain he had shattered a couple bones in my face and was waiting to reconscruct what he had done. back then i hadnt really known of celine's music...but when i heard her it was right around this time...so i thank her for sending a song to help me relate to the world again.

I cry when I hear it & think of the mother of my cousin's children. They were together, had 2 kids and then separated, her new husband emotionally abused her & then ended up killing her by shooting her in the head & heart. She died in her 10 yr old's arms. I even wrote a song dedicated to her. This is a HARD song to hear because I always have the fear that it'll be me. I sing better when I can imagine myself in the situation or have gone thru it....this is one of those songs.

man! she's amazing, i don't know if everybody noticed but during the recording session she sang along only with the piano no beat, wich is incredibly hard, she did nothing but proofing once again that she is the best... singers like beyoncé and lady gaga should lick her feet.
