John dowland ROCKS, Im sitting with the notes infront of me now, it took some time to learn this song, Im 15 and i think that this is the best song of dowlands songs :)
im a big fan of yours. i learned how to play stairway to heaven and Fernando Sor B Minor study from watching your videos. what tuning are you in for this song?
Thank you. I am sorry but i cannot. But if you look at Google, you will find the tabs and then write it as Sheet music. This is from a book i bought with John Dowland complete music. by Diana Poulton.
Den er super, den fanger harmonierne rigtig godt, og fremmer tonerne i din (tør jeg gætte på ret dyre guitar :)) Måske køber jeg også en engang når jeg får pengene til det :)
There are so many pieces written by Dowland, but only few of them are played often. I have never heard this piece, neither. Thank you for sharing those undercovered pieces! Wonderful playing, too, as always.
beautiful piece, beautifully played. the mood is dowland-like. however, it's missing those little signature scalar fills at the end of each cadence that are so indicative of JD.
Very beatiful piece!! =)

Interesting. This piece has similar themes to Napoleon Coste's rendition of La Romanesca. I wonder if that piece had any influence by this one. (:

I love this piece! You play it with unique emotion!
Might I request that you do "Preludio Triston" by Maximo Diego Pujol?
I think that you would do a magnificent job on this piece if you haven't already!
I'm a big fan of yours,
Chris.

Hi Per! Somehow I had missed this video.
Beautiful music by Dowland and as always
beautifully played. These tunes are very
precious. I often find myself more attracted
and connected to those than some modern
compositions. - Athan

Hi Athan!
Thank you. Yes, Dowland makes me feel good too! His music has this power; sadness and hope. Love and dispair. All in those simple notes... wow.
I also prefer this before modern music Maybe we are renaissance people?
Hope you are well.
(I have made a new piece for Marie) :-)
Have a great time!

Dowland is one of my all time fav. composers! I wonder one thing though, which microphone did you use to record your playing?
ferskenicetea 4 years ago
Mine too. I have an external mic. AKG C460 B. I bought it when I was wealthy. :)
Håber du har det godt!!

Tak! Jet er en dejlig mik. Men min guitar er den største grund til at det lyder godt. Fantastiskt (dyrt) instrument... :)
God søndag!

I propose we come up with a title. "Can she excuse my crystal tears"?, "Flow endless night"?, "Death, my darknesse doe"?
:(D
