As much as I hate the idea of Midichlorians they are NOT the Force. They were defined as symbiotic organisms that allowed a person to connect to the Force. The Force itself is still undefined.

Superman just shoots the light sabre outta his hands? Thats so bad... a jedi blocks speed of light blasts all the time. Plus the glimpse of the future gives them quick reflexes.
