I've hit my head the same way, TWICE :D concussions each time. "seeing stars" is really creepy, sorta reminds you of the static on the tv. I didn't get memory loss, but I had trouble with vision and thinking straight. But, any boxer can tell you what happens when the brain gets a good tumble... hence why Conan couldn't stand up

i once had a concussion it hurt only in my case dads arguing with me im backing up and i fall on the bathtub and it took a few minutes to realize i cracked my skull open i remember thinking am I gonna die? we loved far from the hospital so the doctor talked dad thru it over the phone how to patch it up using giant band aids hmmmmm conan gets hurt im hurt hos show was cancelled mine was last january it was a one night show o so hope i dont get another concussion

There's no exaggeration involved in getting a concussion because you smacked your head and being asked questions to judge you cognitive function. Not only that, but we see the damn fall and it was a hard hit to the head. Speaking as somebody who has HAD concussions, that hit looks like a damned painful one.
