The Lisbon Treaty is just a precursor to the EU's one world fascist government agenda, where a single court dictates policies to other Euorpean governments, which is too much power consolidated into one hand.
they took are jobs, dey took er derbs.lol, no seriously though VOTE NO. a bunch of old political looking people wheir in galway today handing out yes leaflets, prety scary stuff.
not necessarily true - i heard last night from an independent economist that the worst case scenario would be that we may lose approx 7 to 8 billion on NAMA - and that talk of us paying this off for generations is just hyperbole - i don't know what is true there are so many accusations flying around but something needs to be done and i think just saying no without providing an alternative isn't very helpful. (btw - never voted for FF in my life and most likely never will)...
Money is what we receive in trade for our life energy. Debt is a taxation on our life energy beyond capacity. It is a great falsehood and a burden we do not choose to carry for the most part. To shed that burden, is to experience the rebirth of vestigial freedoms.
Yes. NAMA is a tax on the life energy of many and is one persons way of shifting the burden to someone else.
Whatever happens we will have to give the banks loads of money to recapitalise them and get them working. What we don't have to do is help their shareholders by paying massively over the odds for the banks assets and asking for nothing in return.
I only heard about it this morning on the radio, but I love that it's non-partisan, and I hope it stays that way!! If enough people turn up, it'll at least get attention of those who seem to think that the government has the right to rip us off!!!
me to LOL I hope they can force one if the FF dont listen to us, you should look at PACUB- protest against child unfriendly budget on facebook they want to stop any cuts to child benefit
I will in me [jumbo breakfast roll]! I wouldn't touch the Big Smoke with a barge poll. (ok, I don't want to have a heartattack driving around Dublin)
It doesn't look like this thing will go through and the Greens will pull out. Have any of ye got a better plan though? There's some massive campaign on the Net to kill it off or convert the Greens, the main Clare one of which definitely sounds like he has as much intention of voting for it as I have of getting losht around Dublin.
may be they will do the right thing and pull out I know some ecomionist are say temporary nationalision until private sector solutions are available. The temporary nationalisation is so we taxpayers might ultimately get something back from the huge amount of money we are going have to fork out to save the banks. When the banks are privatised again. when they've been recapitalised and cleaned up we'll get something back from it. This has happened before in Norway and Sweden.
Sounds like what's after happening here in the States. What's the word on the boreen in regards to the treaty vote in October? Still look as close as last time?
It looks like it'll be a yes, to be honest. It depends on how people react to this new toxic assets legislation, in my opinion. There could be a bit of a blacklash if the government puts it through, depsite the majority of people not wanting it. Have to find the good in the bad, I guess!! ; )
You wouldn't think that if you had to live with me!! ; ) lol! And it sounds like a really good idea to me!! Once it's not hijacked by politicians!! : (
so much for the IrishSheeplesUnion - haha gone already

You should read the article in the Lisbon Treaty in relation National Democracy, which greatly strengthens it's role on how the EU is run.

By Voting NO we will cause a general election that will bring down Fianna Fail and stop NAMA in its tracks.
NAMA = Pay off for the Fat Cats.
Your Childers Children will be paying off NAMA if its passed.

The response should begin with a big fat "Fuck You Pigs" and end with them digging a ditch.
