  • cool Parenting Skills!

  • Very true... There are a lot of Adults out there that need the training in themselves prior to teaching the children.

  • My mother didn't give a rat's ass if I was happy in school or not. In fact she whipped me for just about every bad grade I had. I still ask myself why is she mad at me because I'm not making some grade total strangers say are good. It's sick and twisted when you actually think about it. There's no way I could do that to my children.

  • I can't believe what I was taught growing up! I went to Catholic school for many years and it's astonishing that in the modern age they shove that load of bull down children's throats and ask them to accept it as truth. It's a sin to question if in reality it's even possibe! IT's absolute child abuse to teach children that the devil can possess you, God sent himself down through a human virgin to kill himself and we are all to worship this dude's execution and drink his blood and eat his body

  • Human Beings have mirror neurons, these neurons are important to humans in that they bring natural imitation instincts\...how have people learned throughout history?...imitation..imitation is an important part of learning and is a natural instinct to people...I think as science continues to learn things about human nature we are going to see greater amount of attention placed on mirror neurons.

  • My Dad used to say that the trouble with Christians is they don't act much like Christians.

  • I agree with you dad:)

  • Thanks for the video, John. I'm no parent myself, but it's always good to be prepared.

  • Try using visual aids instead of just talking into the camera, we don't need to look at you for 11 minutes.

  • you're funny!

  • thanks :), though I'm not exactly sure how ^_^

  • Hmm... that's all well and good but what do I do about the other influences in my child's life, people who do not have the child's best interests at heart and the influence of the destructive culture we live in itself? I can't possibly keep my child away from all that.

  • Well, if you really want to keep your child away from destructive cultural influences, the first step is to sell your TV. Second, find a small school to educate your child, or if you can manage, do homeschooling. :)

  • My mom grew up in catholic Ireland back in the 1940-60's. Makes the way religion is used in America look like a joke. Everything there was religious and, there, all the stuff you say is 100% true. lol... needless to say she didn't raise us religious at all. That shit was harsh.

  • LOL

Mike, oh Mike. Are you there Mike? I know you'll edit this.

If you want to know how th raise a child, talk to a parent.

Experts are only expert on writing books and making worthless "self-help" videos.

  • so the summation or synopsis is to leave it along only guiding it when asked but never interfer correct?

  • i know what you are talking about... The city or culture i come from is "basically nukable" , or it would be difficult to try to think of a good time in my early years. Granted, it was the very worst time for enlightenment. It was pretty much allow yourself to be coerced or die. It was right after WWII when killing outsiders under orders was the big deal. They always act like high and mighty is "right" and everything else is captial crime. This is hierarchal authoritative behavior.

  • Sometimes adults like to torture kids in the name of discipline in conformity. Yeah, they ususally bring God, Freedom, and Death into it, all the while making some kind of "God threat" like "God hates disobedient children". They don't even care how many different hierarchies the child has to take torture from. I say let them play soccer and dodge ball till they can sit quietly or take a nap. Then don't try to teach them any group belief nonsense. Authorites like to pass out the "bully cheese"

  • I'm 47, and grew up in a Christian based household. I never even heard of a "God threat".

"God hates disobedient children."? Never heard that either. My parents, and every church I've ever been to, taught God loves everyone, regardless of what they do.

You must have grown up in a horrible house.

Discipline. We live in a culture that discourages discipline. Don't spank your child, but if they misbehave, by all means dope 'em up.

Say no to drugs, except for the ones endorsed by society.

  • It's a little bit complex, but every hierarchal religion has a kind of belong or die, or believe lies or dies path that you could ignore or accept. They will pretend to be talking to God for you, but they don't have a clue beyond the benefits of being "on board" will get them. My home was actually quite difficult. Every time my father does his "false accusation game" i curse his existance. There's a great deal of "false nonsense that occurs every time people try to "fight for status".

  • "hierarchical" and "false" seems to be a favored words with both the producers of this video and those who made comments to it.

    "God threat"

    "hierarchical religion" "false accusation game"

Also, the fact that any point made contrary to the beliefs of the producers to this video and their supporters is ignored.

I get it, this is a cult. If you're not indoctrinated, you're deluded and need to be "informed".

Don't reply. I will not respond to this thread.

  • well said. i see people bashing Christians all the time with examples of how they were treated and my first thought is always, that the person they call a "Christian" in their example wasn't being very Christ-like.

  • Here's a new "old theory"; A man cannot serve two masters... [the new part] especially if they are all self rightious, status bound and mean. I guess that's three and it holds for children more than young adults.

  • In many ways, "the bullying function" is pervasive. Almost everything else is arbitrary. On very serious bully (like a father) can skew everything for a child. Sometimes on hierarchal bully won't like rules and interpretations another bully has been bullying about. If they just tell you that God will forsake you can circumvent the bullying charge. False accusation is usually the big one. A kid has to grow up in a circumstance where the adults are not too "conventionally dishonest".

  • think this guy need a mc donalds times 10

  • nice:)

  • 6:41 "HuHehe Thats funny!"

  • Yea... WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!

  • thanks for explaining that waking up to make sure the child is still alive thing. Enlightening.

  • Be a positive parent

  • No old man, stop telling me what to do!

  • Too bad you couldn't edit the video. Five stars thank you Doctor.

  • Thank you very much. You're a good person Dr. Breeding.

  • mike didn't edit

  • If every future parent would but learn this information by heart, I think the world would be a better place in a matter of decades.

  • Best thing parent can do is turn off the TV and babysit them at movie theaters, especially for non white children.

  • how about turning off the TV and reading kids a good book?

  • yup sounds like a good idea.

  • and taking away the video games.

  • Im non white and I agree.

  • sounds like you spend alot of time supervising non whites and there non white children...good for you mate

  • media has become the #1 influence on people, even greater then religion. And as of now, only a hand full of white males control the media and with a immature and selfish agenda.

  • when i am a parent all i need is cash and a home, everything else is up to the kid
