  • I loved being a CNA. I just recently became an LPN and now I've moved to that position at my place of employment. I have to say, I LOVE being an LPN but I miss the one on one time with the residents I had as a CNA.

  • check rnpedia.com for lecture

  • CNA jobs can be a good stepping stone. I was CNA for 5 years, then I'm LVN 4 years now. CNA jobs are hard, but you have to start somewhere.

  • Also, the reason why I chose nursing assistant is because I am going for registered nurse and then nurse practitioner.

  • My college has nursing assistant program which is new! The best part is that it's a credit courses. So it takes more than 4 months... it takes like 8 months.. >_>.

However, what I like about it is that they help you find a job after you graduate. Pretty awesome. I would check at your college and see if they offer this program. :)

  • You said rewarding. Some times most of the Time NOT,. Cna's tend to be overworked and under paid. Im an Cna/Cma and going to school to be a nurse. I have over 6 years working in brain re-hab. All I can tell U is that it has been a crazy ride. But u have 2 have a passion to work in this field. Unless you goal is to become a nurse, dont look foward 2 gettin paid much. Expect the work load to be very heavy..
