Wow. The Cheshire Cat is really creepy but fascinating, the work realized of Tim Burton is just Awesome!! Also I love Helena Bonham Carter. This movie and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part I are going to be the best of the year. The two movies in 3D. Yeah!!

yeah in the book shes about ten she go's to wonderland and has adventures as a little girl, this film is set ten years later when alice is older and has no memory of wonderland. she returns and everyone is happy to see her again because they need her help :D

@RachaelPoole She is returning to wonderland in the film, i think that its based on "Alice trough the looking glass", the book that Lewis Carool writes after Alice in wonderland. I saw a film about "trough the looking..." and there are the red queen and the white queen, all this story!

2: This takes place years later, when she is probably around eighteen-early twenties. In the Victorian Era (where the Alice stories are set), it was natural for young women to be courted at this age.

She is reaturning to Wonderland but she doesn't remember it from her childhood. That's why the Red Queen and The Mad Hatter know who she is, because she was there before. I'm not sure, but I think that the Red Queen wants Alice dead because she knows that only Alice can put an end to the Red Queen's reign of terror. Hope that helped. lol

This movie will be soooooo awesome! withe Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, AND Helena Bonham Carter all doing one film, it will be sooo AWESOME! I CAN'T WAIT! ^_^

@wonderlandforever i think it was a different alice that was there before. but she left and by chance this girls name was alice again.. iv seen another alice in wonderland movie where that was the explanation...the one ur describing kind of reminds me of the chronicals narnia. no?
