@Miguelsr1rst Between 1993 and 1999 Ducati were virtually unbeatable in WSB. In 1994, we all got our hands on the 916 which for many people seemed to throw away the style rulebook set by Japanese designers. That front end was legendary. It culminated in a road-going SPS version and this model here, shortly after an American buyout which many say saved Ducati. It has 13.5:1 compression, full Ohlins suspension and feels like no other bike before or after. A truly great homologation special! :-)
@fireblade669 what about the ducati 998? many say that model was the pinnacle of Ducati? :) how would u compare the 998 to say the Hayabusa besides the obvious reasons that ducati is class and the ferrari of bikes etc
i have bought this 3 days ago. ALmost killed me yesterday :) but i m lovin it, the sound is so awsome, it probably kills babies in their mothers whooms.
@fireblade669 thanks for the lesson, it is true, I've been too hard and I like your answer, actually, at first we all have much to learn, as I was when I started. Greetings and good luck friend.
ducati with a begginer. money dont = ability. that roundabout looks so grippy that i could get my elbow down... on a fukn boss hoss nevermind the g.o.a.t. look at a top view of a 916/996/998... its a sillouette of a busty woman.... seriously thats how mas tamb started designin it. and the mv was transformer m/p from above,, and he done the lambo diablo.. jesus this dude knew how to scrible. but respect to ducati coz if you jumped off a big duke it would corner by itself... thwarp thwarp
Hah I think it's funny how everyone is a critic on here. Anyways sweet bike! Hope to own one some day. You should make a video of you riding some out of town twisties or somethin!
no need to put your knee out - your as MILLION MILES FROM GETTING IT DOWN ! a day at a track would have been more enjoyable than riding round and round a coned roundabout in rush hour - nice bike though, you lucky sod !
I happen to have a 916. it does comes with some temperature problems riding in town on hot weather. other than that, all is well. The sound of the 916 is so much better than the japanese bikes. but i must admit that all in all, the japs bikes are more reliable for normal commuting use.
Your a text book twister mate!!! try not to twist your upper body on the bends and have the confidance to get your sholders n noggin of your rosso red beauty!!
Good to see this. I have a Strada, if it was an SPS my insurance company would just laugh at me & I'd laugh back at them. Got shunted on the A1 when I was on a VFR & that was my no claims gone; case is still ongoing. When I get the pay out I'm thinking of getting the Corse done. How's the blade? Have you seen the new one? Just amazing. Love my Duke though, can't live without that sound now. Peace.
I know that roundabout - Twyford cutting ! I just bought 996 senna rep and I am still amazed at the noise and speed !! Search -ducati 996 senna - only on tickover but will do others.
Twyford cutting indeed! Well, Bar End to be precise but before the evil traffic people put traffic lights on the roundabout to spoil everyone's fun. Shame about the worst cameraman in the world though!
i thought the ninja gonna challenge or maybe chasing him...lol

It was a nice bike mate.. I'd like to buy Ducati 748E 03 reg preferably, so just a basic cheapest model.
They are not as fast as japanese 600cc, but I love the sound.
