As a masonry laborer, I can tell you that a lot of ignorant people think smashing or breaking a cement block is difficult but it really isn't by any means. You could break them just as effectively as in this video with a small regular claw hammer- even just dropping one on hard ground will occasionally break it. They are strong only when staggered and mortared in a foundation, and then only if it's done well and on non-shifting ground. Alone they look mean but are brittle. not to be a downer. ;P

One thing I may note in the unlikely case of an outbreak of the undead, our bones are very brittle and easily broken.

I don't know the exact figures on it's weight (funny seeing as I own it) but I can tell you it takes quite a heft to swing accurately. You may want to check the cold steel website for specs on weight. The disadvantage to this weapon is that the "Head" of this weapon is where most all of the weight is, making it an excellent crushing weapon, the drawback to this design is that it generates a lot of torque which the wielder must be able to compensate for.

I find it most effective wielding it as a two-handed weapon.. However I'm sure that with enough practice and elbow grease it'd make an effective one handed weapon as well.

@TheTeaGreenAttorney I own a Cold Steel indian war club, and let me tell you, for a piece of hard plastic, its way heavier than a wooden version. If you wanted to wield it with one hand, either hold it somewhere in the middle for balance or lift alot of weights to build up your arm strength, cuz the damn thing is difficult to wield with one hand unless you have alot of arm muscle.
