Entirely wrong. Kitana's first appearance was in Mortal Kombat 2 in 1993. Mai Shiranui's first appearance was in Fatal Fury 2 in 1991. These are the facts. Mai predates Kitana.

Mais pretty good. Has some combo potential. I just didnt like her specials too much. They were too direct and easy to dodge.

Sakura is a fan of Ryu, probably his biggest, she emulates his fighting style and moves because of this.
