i never really understood why lorelai looked so concerned here. when she turned sixteen she was having sex with chris and having rory. while here rory is at sixteen never haveing been kissed and just akwardly holding hands. i guess it could be cause rory didn't tell her but to me she looks more concerned then hurt.

This was back when I could relate to rory but as the show went on she didn't just get older she got snobbier! She started going to grandparents for everything and dated a ritzy jerk(sorry Logan fans!) It was because they got a diffferent writer!

aww. this is so cute.

now, i'm a die hard Rory/Jess fan but... i did love rory and dean in the first season. After that they just went kinda downhill, Dean became too overprotective and kind of a jerk... and in the 4/5 season, gosh I hated him.

It's just really sad, season 1-3 Rory was an amazing person, and season 1 Dean was, it's sad to see what awful people they became later on =/

Yeah, it was sad. It's as if Jess became the one who turned himself around and got his life together, while at the same time Dean became a cheating loser whose life fell apart after his affair with Rory.

And yet, she and Jess still didn't get back together?! Odd. But I liked her with Logan, too.
