i went there yesterday with my school and we had a tour guide with us and we visited this place and all the graves around the area its very sad

@dainbranage Not that I'm aware of. Would have meant digging wider trenches. More work. More water. More mud.

Original? No, its not original. Because the trenches are to small. The dugout is fine, the location of trenches are also fine....but the reconstruction of the trenches ares bad. The sandbags most behind the wooden A-frames. That is the reason why the trenches are to small.

@Limpmania That was quick. OK, used "original" in the wrong sense. meant it really as a comparison with the Sanctuary Wood set up. Will have to think of a better description.

@VideoHistoryToday I think that Hill 62 his trenches also no original. More and more people talks about that. Original? Trenches iof Dead and Bayernwald are good exemples. They are also reconstruction, but good construction and also on the good position.
