Yes, it does :) I'm thinking about bying this so i looked it up. The only real negative thing i've found is that it has a pressure sensitive screen, not like the iPhone.

Yes, that is what i mean,and the menues seem to lag quite a bit. I've checked out some different phunes and i've decided to buy the HTC Touch Pro 2. It's a couple bucks cheaper and much faster and the touch screen is more sensitive.

Hi! (to ButterflyGathering) Yes! I have one for 2 weeks now and that happened to me already 5 times. You have to remove the battery and recharge it and than it comes on again. It just happens, sometimes during the night when it's just laying there it switches off ..... Does anyone know a solution better than removing the battery ???? Thanks!

I have the B7610 and it's far from laggy. The phone in this video is a bit slow in the menus, probably because it's an early model with a beta build of WM6.5. The B7610 running the stable WM6.5 is very responsive and the Samsung menu system is great.

In some cases it will switch to the side view when you flip the phone, for example when you're viewing images, browsing albums or going through favourite pages in Opera. But if you flip the phone when you're on the home screen nothing happens, but it will change to a side view there if you slide open the keyboard.

No, not really. He just drags the screen the wrong way by touching the widgets, which results in nothing happening and him having to drag it again. I've used it and I can say that this phone is very responsive.

Take HD 2 or The Milestone. The 1st one is the fastest and the 2nd one has QWERTY and the Android. These two are the best. Nokia N900 has a resestive screen so it is not so sensitive...

well never saw a phone that is non symbian, to be "quick" this one is one of the quickest with windows mobile on.

Iphone is "cool" and is capacitive, but really i have this phone, the resistive here is just great.

The best business/pda/phone actually on the market.

As far as phisical pad goes, it is difficoult to make it thinner than that, at least for now.

windows mobile offers much more potential for apps and then this new distro of nix for the n900. the n900 only qualifies to be a better phone in a few aspects such as better screen resolution, yet not an amoled display, processor is 25% slower with 600mhz rather than 800mhz, and the lcd is .2in. larger with the omnia pro. both have 5mp cameras, both offer qwerty, both have 16M Colors display. overall the omnia pro has more power :)

Go for the Samsung B7610 OmniaPRO, the HD model doesn't have a touch keyboard and it will be difficult to chat. The only advantage is the quality of the display and HD video recording.

Oh, I also hope Samsung try to optimize the OS a bit more. There was some pretty noticeable lag in the preview.

I like Windows Mobile, but Christ, why is it every Windows Mobile phone has lag? I've used an HTC Hermes, HTC Touch Pro, and both those phones and the B7610 seems to have the same lag, despite the difference in CPU power.

I really hope Windows Mobile 7 turns out great.

What a great phone. If the 800MHZ CPU ends up being a Cortex A8 (or anything non-Qualcomm, for that matter) and the audio quality is good, then I'm sold. Right now, I'm serious split between this and the Omnia HD.

Still, I wish phone preview/review would do more than just look at the case design, and move through a few UI screens. I would like to see how web browsing and text/pdf files look on this phone.

yes me 2! the Samsung Omnia HD is actually getting a major relaunch on the

1th august with all the bugs fixed, and software optimalization aswell as internal optimalisation and maybe changes. i like this phone, but things i dont like about it are:

-Windows mobile

-slide keyboard but thats just a matter of preference

-resistive touchscreen unlike omnia hd capacative

-less RAM than omnia hd, 135 while the hd has 256

-still 5 mp camera...

other than that,its looking like a great phone!

Omnia HD is getting a relaunch? Incredible, though, frankly, the phone is pretty much perfect. The only thing I can see that would make it better is high resolution and a faster Cortex A8. I wish Samsung would offer the phone in alternative OS too, but that is unlikely.

Anyway, I personally like slide out keyboards and resistive touch screens, but everyone has their preference. However, you are mistaken about the RAM. The B7610 has 256MB of RAM, not 135MB; GSM Arena list it as such.

and yes, the internet is fast, because of the opera browser, but it depends on your internet connection, too.
