  • This guy sucks.

  • @tomphillpotts Intensely

  • Saw CS at the Edge in about 1983 ... woa ...

  • This was such a phenomenal gig, too - what a great video capture! Chris is the player's player for sure and one of the best. Thanks for this rare gem, pokopen.

  • 1980 enfantin mais toujours adorateur des précurseurs avez vous d'autres videos like this

  • 1980 enfantin mais toujours adorateur des précurseurs

  • 1980 enfantin maiis toujours adorateur des précusseurs

  • Has Chris Spedding ever come out? Does anyone know?

  • Great player and highly underrated - although this is not one if his best performances...and he should definitely stick to the gutear and leave the singing for....well, practically everybody else...

  • Yeah Chris was Ace,,,,,,♠

Sadly thisis somewhat of a nerd performance.

    Still like him though.

  • Chris Spedding delivered live!

  • If you want to hear Chris at his best (imo), listen to the Jack Bruce album "Songs for a taylor". Superior riffs and general playing.

  • Chris is always killer!

I think the band is KILL also!

    I LUV THIS!

  • Great as always !

Saw him since early 90s, each time he played near and can say Chris Spedding is a very underrated guitar man.

    TOP CLASS

  • Chris is legendary-his guitar playing/tone is always good-Hurt is still one of the finest albums of all time.

  • Couldn't do Hank Marvin who was his inspiration.

  • Chuck Berry at 1:59

  • Yeah... but he had to ask his bass player -"Who's next".

Putting up a little show... I think.

  • He forgot Chet Atkins ha ha.

  • Did he really forgot Chuck Berry??? Nah - That's impossible! You can't forget Chuck Berry.

  • Chris is playing lead guitar on the live show of War of the worlds. Really good.

  • He looks a bit like "Lonesome" Dave Peverett

  • I love Chris so much,but this was a

lousy performance, his HURT days are surely gone #==€¤Ð

  • CHRIS is my hero!

My old band, Lou Miami/Kozmetics(sic) got him to play on their album...

    He's always GREAT!

I got stuck playing with a MODERN LOVER...

    Not bad I guess?

    taxiboysdrummer

  • Love him - he doesn't only play the notes, he manage to replicate the specific touch of all the greats, that's why he "sound" like them, even with a single P90 guitar instead of the many different guitars used on the original recordings.

  • what is the eric clapton song that he plays at 3:50?

  • its at 3.45 and its the intro to the original 'Layla' Derek an dthe Dominoes, which of coure was Clapton

  • That's the late Bobby Chouinard on drums in this. He played in Billy Squier's band, and Robert Gordon's, too.

  • rock n´roll forever!!!!!

  • And what a sound he gets outta that jr. I think he used one when he toured with Roxy Music.

  • Been a huge Chris Spedding fan since I was introduced to his music by members of the first band I was in outta school. That was '81. Went through 2 copies of that first album, and have everything he's done up to the 90's. Would play Guitar Jamboree for all my friends to show how great he is. Got to meet him in '81 at a punk club in Milwaukee called The Starship. This performance rocks!

  • rockN'Rockn'ROCK ON roll!!!!!

  • Great single !

Chris very kindly gave me his guitar pick backstage at a John Cale gig in 19?? (cant remember !!)

Great guitarist and still vastly underrrated

    ( and a true gent !)

  • 1992 NY Bottomline Live

  • I remember that Concert! I'd never heard of Chris up until then. Him backing Cale made that one the best concerts I have ever attended. As I recall, the drummer was also on fire...

  • Is that bloke with the specs my old maths teacher?
