I couldn't help but point out that this broadcast shares the same theme song as the long-running Oklahoma City talk show "Dannysday": "Jubilee" by Spyro Gyra.
I second the opinion!! The following WTHR Noon Newscast clip was aired originally in August 1983. In addition, the syndicated version of "Wheel Of Fortune" aired at the start of the 1983-1984 Television Season.

It must have been 1983. Monday the 29th was not in 1984.
