@nanlisa Last time I checked, this country stood for the dollar sign. Liberty, law, justice, and freedom weren't worth much in monetary value so our government just got replaced them with something that did.

Plus many countries have become so connected with the American Dollar. Even if she does leave, the upcoming collapse of the dollar will destroy the global economic infrastructure. So leaving is silly.

Not everyone understands that a government which collects "taxes" from people and uses that money to ruin the lives of those same people is not earning its keep, and is instead "robbing the people" just as Cindy said. Even many of the rich who "benefit" from taxation of the middle class have no clue that the laws made in favor of the super rich are hurting them too because they destroy many productive members of society.

Cindy, I hope you are mistaken about the statement that 2012 will be the year of "revolution" rather than "reform"... but sadly reform is much harder to get and those in control are not likely to allow it. If we can get enough people to "OCCUPY THE VOTE", meaning to refuse to leave any position blank on the ballot and write in OCCUPY if they have no candidate for a position to TRULY support, then perhaps we can avoid the civil war that the robbing super-rich are pushing for and get reparation!
