how come english is understood all around the world but other languages seem to change depending on region (People in north China have trouble understanding people in south China, people in north Italy can't understand people in south Italy, Canadian French speakers won't understand French French speakers.....)
Our English is based off of British, no need to get all worked up lol. If the simple little letter changes bug you, then don't buy programs that were manufactured in the USA xD

How about all the dialects of English within the US? The written English is the same for all Americans regardless.
Canada has three major dialect areas: Western/Central Canada, the Maritimes, and Newfoundland.
