Well, i'm assuming it's the uncut version because it contains added gore that was not in my VHS version. It shows an extended death of the girl in the hammock, and you see the handstand guy get split in half. Both these scenes were much shorter on my VHS but are full and uncut on my DVD. It's the newest region 2 release, the special edition with the pitchfork and blood on the front.

Thanks, I'm a big horror movie fan. The first remake was pretty good not great. I was hoping they would do the second part 2 remake and do a crazy good job. I heard it was suppose to be 3D. Guess we will gave to weight and find out. What horror movies are u looking forward to coming our in the next year. I'm looking forward to freight night remake, jeepers kreepers 3 if it ever comes, insidious which us out now

@rawnotion22 Of horror movies this year I think I'm really only looking forward to Scream 4 this weekend. I saw Insidious and liked it and I saw Hobo With A Shotgun and it was amazing. There are a ton of movies coming out this year, but not that many horror that I'm awaiting.

Hey, are they coming out with Friday the 13th part 2 remake or what. I heard they stopped filming. And it was supposed to be realeased a year ago? I looked but couldnt really find anything definitive

@rawnotion22 Last bit of news I saw was that the script was written, but there was no movement from the studio beyond that point. It was from Brad Fuller (producer of F13 remake) on his twitter account, so I'd say it's reliable.

I bought the uncut of Friday the 13th as well as the His Name Was Jason DVD. I am not gettins parts 2 and 3 cuz they are not uncut!

Yeah, that is true. In fact, I think the scenes that are cut out of the original only amount to a matter of seconds, as well, so really these DVDs might be about the special features, and hopefully some nice new transfers.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to be getting them as well. I have a blu-ray player, but no HDTV just yet, so I'm undecided on DVD or Blu-Ray, but either way it's the content that matters.
Thanks about the intro. I'm just using it on Friday-related stuff, but I might try and do up a generic one as well.
