I was browsing in the Beatles Story shop today, they play The Beatles music constantly in there and I was singing along as I do :)

Led to me explaining to my son about the Beatles, I don't think Lennon will ever be forgotten.

And thank you John for posting this to that fantastic unique video 'I met the Walrus', that was such a fascinating piece of animation and history.

SSJ is the most gifted and beautiful woman I have ever had the pleasure to know. My wish has always been to see her shine. :) Thank you for such wonderful words of wisdom on Lennon. Yoko was harsh and controlling, in and out of the studio, but he honestly seemed to need Yoko and did love her very much.

Wonderful tribute to the memory of one of the great ones. I think the greatest measure of his impact is in the simple realization that 30 years after his death people just can't forget the message of peace he gave us all. Your video is very moving.

Another celebrity that was too young to die. It amazes me how John got killed but that screaming bitch Yoko is still alive! Its unfair. They should have shot HER instead.

You're certainly not alone in those sentiments! And it's true if Yoko had been shot instead she would not have been mourned so deeply by so many. Lennon was far from being an angel-but at the same time those flaws make him that bit more accessible in a way that can become endearing. I'm always amazed at how strongly one man, with many faults, affected so many.

At the end of the day, neither John nor Yoko deserved to die that way.

I remember switching the radio on while getting ready for school and hearing John had been murdered. I could not believe it. The following Sunday I attended a memorial/vigil to John in Liverpool city centre outside St George's Hall. There was over a 100,000 people there. It was very sad but very moving.

I recall as a child seeing everyone at home crying over the news, and years later I saw an American television news caster give a commentary regarding the gun control problem in America and asking when are we going to wise up. That was a very candid commentary back in 1980 and holds up just as true today.
