After watching the MV myself, it looks more like the blind sister wants to be more like her older sister. She mimics the way she lies in bed (I actually didn't pick up on that till you mentioned it!), she spent way more time feeling up her sister's silk scarf in the closet and passed by the man's suit completely and every girl wants to make up themselves to look like their mum/sister... though I do like your whole mirror analogy! It sounds so deep XD

I took the video more as the sister tries to connect with her sister more, the sister misunderstanding it as her sister trying to seduce her husband (which was bad because of the older sister's already strained relationship with her husband), and ending with the older sister trying to drown the younger sister in the bathtub.

Well i think that the blind girl is the reflection of the wife herself, it's like she sees her self and how she was blindely in love with the man and she was trying stupidly to be liked by him and everything, then when she sees that she was somehow pathetic she decided that she want's to hide that part of her by trying to drown her ... I saw this in a different way, esp given the lyric. I assumed that the young innocent blind girl (BG) was the main womans (MW) younger self, blind to her husbands (HB) faults, innocent of all knowledge of how bad life can be. MW is shocked to see BG touching HBs face as she is trying to get over the scum bag as she now knows that he is one, but cant forget/forgive him. The bath scene at the end I saw as MW forcing herself as BG to wake up and clean herself and head of HB.... just my take on it

@pippi1214 imo, I think metaphorically the wife is trying to clean off the fact that she's had to pretend to be someone she's not & found herself in a cold/fake relationship,& her sister is trying to be something she's not to impress her husband. I think the wife & husband have lost their identity & therefore cold towards each other so she sees a bit of herself in what her "sister" is doing which is trying to impress her husband which clearly she herself has tried and failed at doing.

@sarahneplevrednav The actual plot of the MV is that the blind girl represents the 'young and innocent' part of the person who is seen as the older sister. She reminds the wife of how blindly and innocently she was in love, before slipping into the cold character hidden behind a mask (represented by the make up) that she has become. That is why when she sees the make up on the blind girl's face, she desperately washes it off. It is because she wants to protect the innocent part of herself.

When they young, there was a fire and both of their parents died and the younger sister went blind. Only the older sister emerged uninjured, thus she feels guilty.
