I want to correct one thing. If you want a $100 item and you only have $67 on your debit card, you could actually end up paying more for the item than if you used a credit card. Why? Because most banks would let the charge go through for the $100 item and then charge you astronomical overdraft fees. Of course this is not true today for many customers due to new federal laws, unless one opts out.
@utubern07 Great point & thank you for the comment. With SouthPoint you'll eliminate worry while making purchases with your debit card. We'll only allow what's in your account be used & don't charge the large fee's like other FI's
