well its all the same they can all give you very bad burns.

It really flare guns can burn from30-2mins and shoot at about 500 fps and burn a a much higher temp.. roman candles burn at a lower temp. and last maybe 4 secs and only shoot at about 90-120 fps. So no they are not the same.
