In essence it works like a cigarette though. It is simply a different (and in my opinion, healthier) way of ingesting tobacco. Also, cigarette tobacco tends to have more additives than shisha, which is mostly tobacco and flavoring. It DOES go through your lungs though, and tobacco can cause cancer.

@xXHeadTrIpXx1 weed is dry so when the large amounts of super hot air from the coals goes over the weed it basically just burns all up and wastes it. unless you mix it in well with the shisha but even then it still takes a lot. i've mixed it in my shisha before and ended up using 1-1.5+ grams just for myself. it was nice but honestly i could have thrown half the amount in my bong and got way more ripped.

But I was with some seasoned tokers and they told me if you do a 50/50 blend of weed (about a bowls worth) and the rest shisha that it conserves your weed and gets alot of people high. We smoked it for 25 minutes straight and 6 people really baked! If you have a hookah I'd defiantly give it a go if you have a large group!
