The exhaust trail from the RC 2 stroke engine is the give away and the fact that the acrobatic video is preceeded with a fade. Good attempt though! :)
Nice plane. I had a Cessna 150 for 8 years, then sold it, looking to buy a Xair, Flightstar or Challenger.
Although I belong to an Aeronca club, those taildraggers are tough to fly on cross winds. Even looking at paramotors, since I owned a paraplane. My questions is, how do you like yours?
Viejo trucho...!!! un RC muy lindo pero si logras hacer una maniobra de esas con esa verga de ultraliviano, yo me hago cura de todas las religiones. jajajaja
can someone tell how much this EXACT type microlite would cost....and also, is the upkeep on the engine hard, and lastly- this particular model...could it glide down safely if the engine shutdown, I want one but I want one that could come down in a glide instead of dropping like a rock out of the sky
so much fake...there's a Dihedral to the RC model plane even when inverted...and the ultralight is a straight wing. Plus the RC plane color is close to piper cub yellow than than the neon yellow of the real plane.
I was getn kinda pumped up on getn an x-air after watchn this vid,but I didnt think they were stressed for aerobatics, considering the boom tube looks like something off of a cheap swing set LOL!!!
Hi, I'm not sure what scale the model is, I was only the camera man and editor, I'll find out tho, I've got a Microlite Impossible in the making vid to go up which will show how it was done...
Looks like a Phantom...

Its not a Bantam. I think its an X Air-well the microlight taking off and landing is, the aerobatic rc model not sure what that was.
I fly a Bantam and have seen a Bantam perform mild aerobatics. Microlights are beautiful aircraft.

It's an X-Air Standard. I have one of these planes, and though I have never tried aerobatics in it doesn't mean it can't.

Very good, I think if you had slowed the model bit down a tad it would have looked more convincing, very good though.

About $20-30K US for the real plane... a lot less for the R/C used in the video! Like any airplane, it can glide when the engine quits.

The real X-Air can take some punishment, but I'm sure it wouldn't fare too well if you tried those manoevres in one!
Cool vid nonetheless!

I think it is a model in the aerobatics. Look at the leading edge. No green like on the ground.
