Cant wait to do swap mine, ever since I saw Lloyd Smith I got hooked on 1uzfe potential in a corolla, after I outgrow the redtop its time for big changes

Are you sure? I read a 1uz was over 160kg, and it would hold a lot more weight up top than a 4ag due to the quad cam setup.. I guess if you sat it low and far back it'd be ok, just dial in the suspension well, and if it has a hilux diff it would pull back the weight distribution.

Ha iv only ever owned a 20v ae85, this car is damned cool though!

What does it handle like with the extra weight in the front? Are you using a W5* tranny?

@zeroyon223 The added weight isn't significant since the 1UZ is all aluminum, where the stock 4age runs an iron block. Once you eliminate the unneeded weight in the front end the weight difference is negligible.

@mengthor Those are called louvers. They pop up on ebay every once in a while. Almost impossible to get anymore.

@ck1uzfeae86 that's one of the missing piece to complete it to old school status. i love those. my bro used to have those on old Datsun Z's, Celicas, Celica-Supras, and other older corollas as well. i still miss my bro's old ae86. he bought his GTS with the light blue color new from the toyota dealer. my dang older sis wrecked it. :( she was doing some 80's style high speed drifting those times.

I used to have a set, 1/4 glass and back window, sold b/c thought it looked gay, still looks gay IMO but sell for way more lol, to each his own, coulda bought it all from me for $100 bucks lol, now just the back sells for $150, damn fanboy tax

Its called a Window Louver. Works well to keeps the sun out and get rid of the reflection in the back window. I'm getting one for my AE86.

should be "UZE86" in the Toyota naming code. UZ for engine block and E86 for chassis. the "f" and "e" are not used as they are attributes of the engine. /nerd out
