Sorry, i was wrong. If Aznavour sing the song, the author is Cole Porter; he did it for his 1953 musical can can..

Dario Moreno write the french one for Louis Mariano....

I don`t know exactly who sang it first, but if you say Cancan, than the singer must have been Maurice Chevailler I guess.

I know French singer Patachou also sang it....
