Our military policy is not driven by defending America, which is what, in principle, it should be driven by. No, instead our war policy is being driven by a need to manufacture circumstances that keep war profiteers employed - whether that is Halliburton, Lockheed, Boeing, or Blackwater. Defending life isn't our objective. Defending profit is.
