I am at that point in my own training I have 1 question for you is it wise to do a push up In that position say 5 push up or should I wait till the Planche - half then start doing the push up ??? what point is it good to start doing a push up

to open up the tuck do you just lift your butt/hips higher in the air or try straightening the legs ?
