  • I want one for my f100

  • @peterm3964 . If your serious.. contact B&M sirens in California. Check their web site. These sirens are nice for smaller Emergency vehicles as well! Less current draw than the big Q sirens. And just as loud at 100 feet!

  • nice sound!

  • Hook it up to a jet engine and dogs everywhere will stick their paws in their ears with agony

  • Very nice I have one like it but its missing the foreskin ,and the motor cover. I set it off every new years eve

  • @chuckbear1961 ..The foreskin?? Anyways, contact B&M sirens in California if you want replacement stainless. Their contcat info is at their website! Enjoy!!

  • @911caddy p.s. My front cowl is new as you can see. Previously it was badly dented.

  • I want one of those things! So many uses for it!

  • Damn, would like one of those to scare the shit out of my neighbors.

  • @iLoveEatingPie would mount one on my '90 Pajero, in the middle of the FedSig Visibar

drive slowly past a church, then as the Visibar gets within the visibility range of the wedding guests turn the lights on and hit the siren. Then to scare the shit out of them, pull up, hit the siren brake, leave the engine running to keep the lights going and march into the church to arrest someone random.

  • that's vintage.....

  • @josephsaliba79 , Yes and No. This siren is still available brand new from B&M sirens in California!

Fire Departments acorss North America still use them! Much less amp draw than the Federal Q2b and louder at 100 feet! Check their website :)

  • @911caddy Thanks for the info.

  • Is that a ram scoop on the front?

  • @douro20 . It's more about projecting the sound coming from the siren, forward. Unlike the Q2b made by federal signal.. No sound focusing/projecting ability.

  • where can i buy one i would love to drive the neighbours mad

  • Nice 2 here it again back in the 70s this was the siren we had on top of your ambulance allong with a frderal standered ele siren. i hate 2 amed it but i have hereing dammage 4 running C-3 with booth sirens above u.

  • like the tone of this one

  • looks like a

    minijet engine

  • alot of the old tv shows from the 60s you see this siren mounted on the roof of the police cars.

  • Great classic siren!!!

  • Why louder than a Q?

Fewer stator ports means lower frequency. Lower pitches travel farther.

  • its like a mini jet enjine i like it

  • just for know.. what is the RPM of this? Oo

  • Sorry, no idea. If you reaally need to know you can contact the president of B&M sirens in california at their web site.

Just google B&M Sirens. You'll be glad you did, lot's of info and photo's!

  • haha it was just curiosity.. i dont realy know that haha

    thx!

  • I would love this to be on roof of a brand new rig of today.

  • No reason it couldn't. They are still available new at B&M sirens in California Brother. As you've probably noticed in my videos a local dept on the Island purchased one for their new rescue engine. Actually it was the Fire fighter association who purchased it.. Not the City. The only person who opposed the purchase of the Super Chief probably uses it the most? Go figure.

  • They have been on top of medix ambulance. Mission Viejo, CA

  • @mxfrmbarsspbdsrtrver

i use it all the time at medix, the big F ones r louder tho

  • @baovo0386 Awesome, it may be obsolete in decibals to the newer "Q's" (with the F) but you can't beat it's iconic and ageless tone.

  • Boy Caddy, you just have to keep rubbin it in, one of these days I hope to get one. All kidding aside, it sounds beautiful

  • I know you'd have a much better video presentation!! But, I think I'm getting the message out there. I too look forward to you getting one of these beautiful sounding sirens. I have not seen one for some time on eBay??

  • looks like a jet engine

  • Whoops, ment to give your comment a thumbs up. Sorry!

  • Yeah, but it sounds better!!

  • i prefer the rumble of an airbus Rolls Roice x)

but i love the sound of this siren xD
