Sounds like excuses...the Lakers didn't have Mychal Thompson in '86 and Magic asserted himself...the Finals were not as close as ppl make them out to be. Coulda, woulda, shoulda...Bird didn't make the shot and Magic did. Lakers '87>Celtics '86...especially since they BEAT THEM 2 out of 3 times and really beat themselves in '84
