I worked in Mozambique in 82/83 for the Ministry of education and culture. the music of Mozambique was recorded in the villages by the late John Marney who worked for four years visiting the Provinces of Mozambique to build an archive of music for the future generations of Mozambicans. John sadly died in Mozambique 1983,and is buried in Maputo. His work is a wonderful legacy , thousands of hours music on tape and documented for the history of the nation peace and love gordon
