I never heard of the Gospel being chanted in the vernacular. Are they sure they know what they're doing? or are they just making up as they go?

@lach1317 The protocols for the Moto Proprio Summorum Pontificum Mass states that the readings may be proclaimed in Latin first, then read in the vernacular or read totally in the vernacular with the traditional Latin openings and closings
