@TheImperialCrusade The gold was a base coat of Vallejo Model Colour Ochre. With a Vallejo Game Colour Leather shadow and a Vallejo Model Colour Buff highlight. Then some DevlenMud wahed on the shadows and receses. The top edges where highlighted with Vallejo Model Colour Pale Sand. I hope this helps
@TheChesneyChrist Thanks and yes your right it is spinning a bit too long. I was trying a new camera out and then I was in a hurry to upload it and... Anyway I'll do a better job of editing the next video.
@Generalsplatton Thanks, this did start out as a basing exercise. When it was finished a LoTR mini seemed to fitt it nicely. So I thought I have a go at NMM as well. So it's been a bit experimental but come out well iin the end.
Ach! Gorgeous!! :D Love the highlighting buddy and the sword metallic is so lovely, as is the shading and shadow on the face. How do you seal the base? Amazing! Will u do more LOTR?
@asjarra Thanks mate, It's the first time I've really tried non metalic metal and I think the sword has come out very well. The base has been sprayed with Army Painter matt varnish. I've not actually varnished the model yet because there are a couple of areas I think I might touch up first. As for doing more LoTR. I will be at some stage. I got quite a few Elves off Detlef in a trade.
very well done.

Wonderful figure my friend! The base gives the model such life by placing it so concretely in a believable setting.
