  • very well done.

  • looks awesome mate that base really is something special

  • excellent paintjob and a great base"work"!

  • @Arbornoctua Thanks, I want to do a slightly larger one at some stage. For some of the Eleven Swords Men you sent me.

  • did you use vallejo paints?

  • @gwpaints Yes I did, I usually use Vallejo.

  • looks really nice.

  • @TheTabletopFreak Thanks

  • how did you do the gold on it it looks awsome?!?

  • @TheImperialCrusade The gold was a base coat of Vallejo Model Colour Ochre. With a Vallejo Game Colour Leather shadow and a Vallejo Model Colour Buff highlight. Then some DevlenMud wahed on the shadows and receses. The top edges where highlighted with Vallejo Model Colour Pale Sand. I hope this helps

  • Beautiful job!!!

  • @linkinhearts666 Thanks mate.

  • A tutorial of how certain parts were accomplished would be great!

  • @HollowVampire Sounds like a good idea, what part did you want to know about?

  • @JudgeGudge Where do I start..? xD

  • Awesome dude think ye left it spinning a bit too long but the mini is beautifully painted :)

  • @TheChesneyChrist Thanks and yes your right it is spinning a bit too long. I was trying a new camera out and then I was in a hurry to upload it and... Anyway I'll do a better job of editing the next video.

  • Wonderful figure my friend! The base gives the model such life by placing it so concretely in a believable setting.

  • @Generalsplatton Thanks, this did start out as a basing exercise. When it was finished a LoTR mini seemed to fitt it nicely. So I thought I have a go at NMM as well. So it's been a bit experimental but come out well iin the end.

  • Ach! Gorgeous!! :D Love the highlighting buddy and the sword metallic is so lovely, as is the shading and shadow on the face. How do you seal the base? Amazing! Will u do more LOTR?

  • @asjarra Thanks mate, It's the first time I've really tried non metalic metal and I think the sword has come out very well. The base has been sprayed with Army Painter matt varnish. I've not actually varnished the model yet because there are a couple of areas I think I might touch up first. As for doing more LoTR. I will be at some stage. I got quite a few Elves off Detlef in a trade.

  • Fantastic job and the base is extraordinary...will look great in a showcase of showcase minis...very nicely done...Jim.

  • @Jedijim252 Thanks Jim, It was tgood fun doing the display base. I've never tried a base like that.

  • spectacular.

  • @inspiredprophet Thanks mate. Nice to have a change.

  • well done, sir! all around great mini

  • @Spiralvex Thanks, I'm pretty happy with him
