  • so lovely...howard is a good man.

  • Oh please...Do you have any idea who made this junk? M night Shyamalan whose resume inludes turds like the Village, Happening, Last airbender and Devil. I won't even have to see this film and I am going to rate it a 2/10 on imdb. I've seen parts of it and it is an insult to superhero genre. Why do Catwoman and Batman and Robin get ridiculed when this stinker should hold up that side of the balance on its own

  • @rishi851 Ye and he also made the Sixth Sense before this. He's tailed off a bit, i don't know why, but just because his latest is poor you can't condemn his earlier work.

  • best movie ever made but why so anonimus

  • I don't understand why this movie is so underated, is a masterpiece

  • I used to be a super hero but i took a arrow in the knee

  • I want JNH to make the soundtrack of my life xd

  • best part of music in this film, perfect scene...Hero is born

  • Listening to this makes me feel like a tragic hero.

  • 1:04 on... Just beautiful.

  • “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” Edmund Burke

  • "It was the kids.... They called me Mr Glass"

  • Epic...just epic. Touches the heart.

  • see i told you erotic asphyxiation wouldn't work damnit.....

  • This World need a Hero like the Unbreakable man.

  • @Cla900 Heh,hold on buddy..

  • @Cla900 knob

  • @daz702003

    wtf was so bad?

  • this movie is amazing. this score is amazing. this amazing is amazing.

  • such an amazing movie, but the music made it supreme :D

  • Top scores for JNH

    1. I Am Legend 2. Unbreakable 3. Signs He is one of the best and we share the same birthday. Happy B-Day, James

  • i agree. after Signs, things went downhill.

  • I was listening to Zelda music and it strangely reminded me of this track. I don't know if its the notes, or the instruments or what, but they sound like they could belong together. Just that whole sense of a lone hero.

  • How the fuck did this not get nominated for Best Score at the Oscars? Oh, thats right, because their too busy sucking John Williams' dick.

  • @thelupoistheman1 That's simply because Williams is the most gifted and influencing movie composer of all time. By the way: the music of "Lord of the Rings" by Howard Shore was also a strong competitor in that year 2000, so it's not surprising the score for "Unbreakable" didn't even get a chance for a nomination. You should first do some research before you make an untenable assertion like this.

  • @queggy1,

Lord of the Rings was 2001, dude.

  • they call me mr. Glass

  • Probably one of the most powerful songs ive heard in ages, it tells the story so well through its melody, is just soul wrenching and lifting at the same time.

  • such a fantastic movie, the most realistic vision of comic book mythology that i have ever seen

  • Mr. Glass disliked this

  • Sounds epic!!!

  • It seems the one person who disliked this "breathing taking" track from this amazing soundtrack really was "breakable" after all.

  • Yes, this is one of my favorite movies! Very Well made, unique story! M. Night Shyamalan is awesome!

  • @MatrixParadise Correction: M. Night Shyamalan WAS awesome. For two movies. Then... :(

  • @MatrixParadise was awesome have you seen his last movies? I dont know what happened to him but he really lost it and it is a pity

  • this movie made mw wonder; are you the hero? or the vilain?

  • @luuko656 you either die the blah blah, or you live long enough to see yourself become something something cliche.

  • a woderful music for wonderful movie

  • 1 person is "breakable."

  • Amazing.

  • Really well made, thought provoking film, with a breathtaking soundtrack theme.

  • now that we know who you are, i know who i am.

  • @luuko656

    The kids.

    They called me.... Mr Glass....

  • This is my favorite track from this score.

  • beautiful movie , beautiful soundtrack ♥

  • amazing...

  • my friend made a epic beat out of this

    /watch?v=Tq4kudSDgMI

  • God I love the beginning !!!! It gives you that feeling that you just cant explain to someone else !!!! you just have to feel it yourself to believe it !!! Its like finding that truth that's within you !!! that locked away being that you have been looking for your hole life !!! then the second part of the music is you finally excepting who you truly are......

  • beautiful track and the scene...<3

  • I think we all have the day dream of us becoming a hero. In mine, this music is playing.

  • You know this is a good song when theres 228 likes, and 1 dislike.

  • I want this song to play while I fight off an entire army of pirates and ninjas

  • The person who disliked this video is the arch villain of the owner of this channel.

  • @KnightAlbert its probally the orange man who dislikes this as he gets strangled during it

  • @KnightAlbert Too true...lol

  • one of the best theme songs ever made!!

  • @AtGouger well actually he onlky pours it half way, so it means mr glass is only half evil cus he did a bad thing by killing all those people to find a hero, but a wanted to find a hero so he can help people. so hes half bad and half good

  • the best thing Shymalan ever made.

  • @omegagraecisso,

    Besides the 6th Sense.

  • @omegagraecisso the last best thing shymalan ever made

  • @omegagraecisso

Sixth Sense & Unbreakable were my favourites, it kinda went downhill from there. Signs wasn't too bad, but that's where it slipped.

  • @6Orochi9,

Oh yeah, and I did like The Village. Amazing music in that film.

  • Comment removed

  • @omegagraecisso ...and then you spell his name wrong

  • @omegagraecisso

    Definitely

  • un film magnifique

  • @Murrdock71 don't u have a colorful vocabulary...but srsly tho, i dont know that word.

  • @Murrdock71 more like 0:00 - 2:31

  • The one person who disliked this song must be the Orange Man himself; considering he got chocked out while this song was playing.

  • @Muglosx i like that ,that`s a good one lol

  • AMAZING

  • M.Night's films are sooo creative

  • M Night + Newton Howard = Awesome music.

Shame about his films though, after Unbreakable they start sliding in quality steeply. Thankfully Howard's scores have always remained brilliant no matter what. They just obviously click on a creative level.

If that's not a silver lining to M Night's crap recent films, I don't know what is.

  • @Abazigal Wait, wait, wait...you think M. Night's films are crap? Are you insane? They are all amazing works. You must not have a very good imagination. I think he's an awesome film maker. All of his films make you put thought into what these people are going through. You should really go see these movies with a much more broad perspective.

  • @utahjedi

I think The Happening and Lady In The Water (and Last Airbender) are crap. I just said they slide in quality after Unbreakable (Signs being worse than that, Lady In The Water much much worse, etc). I haven't seen The Village yet.

  • @Abazigal I haven't seen Last Airbender yet but I will soon. It's so sad you can't see these movies for what they really are. Everyone has the right to their own opinion so I won't criticize yours but I think it's sad you can't appreciate this master of film making. I'm not saying he's Oscar worthy, but his works are an absolute treasure to behold. I own all his films and they are by far some of my favorite.

  • @Abazigal but the music is always outstanding...exspecially airbender...didn't see the film yet, but I absolutely LOOVEE the score

  • @Abazigal- I agree one hundred percent. i always get so hyped about M. Night films just because you can assume James will be composing the music.

  • from 1:06 its just incredibly :).

  • Fuck the one person that does not like this soundtrack!

  • Who knew that a scene of Bruce Willis just choking a guy for a minute could be so incredibly powerful?

  • am i the only who finds it disturbing that music this beautiful is played whilst we watch a man being strangled to death?

  • @jhibbitt1 I dont remeber him being killed? I really don't think he dies.

  • @jhibbitt1 Yes.

  • man at 1:06 it sends chills through ur whole body, Bruce Willis best performance ever. Like I'm gonna buy a rain poncho and go be a super hero ahah

  • LOVE this. I've been looking for it for a long time. You know when you hear a piece of music, but just don't know where it's from?? Thanks for uploading it, it's so beautiful.

  • I swear I'm half of the views of this video! :)

  • A film has never given me goosebumps so many times as Unbreakable

  • Great movie and music.

  • This kind of music reminds me to be a good boy.

  • More than be a good boy a think is be a fighter of the life, be a goog human being

  • Fantastic!!!Good video!!!

  • One of the most riveting soundtracks ever :)

  • Fantastic and Breath Taking

  • One of Shyamalan´s awesome movies (Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs) ! Shame his recent work (The Village, The Happening..) does not come close..

  • @guhu87 i thought the village was excellent

  • Great!

  • The movie and soundtrack are SO underrated.

  • they usually are when m .night shymalan makes the film

  • wonder if bruce willis will ever b in a marverl or dc superhero movie?

  • 1:04 = gold.

  • Absolutely brutal scene. Its just like Elijah said: Real life wasn't made to fit in boxes drawn for them.

  • They called me

    Mr.Glass

  • best music for a movie. ever.

  • very nice song

  • I loved this song the moment I heard it in the movie, and most of James Newton Howard's music. I always looked it up for years, having a very difficult time finding it. It's good to see the youtube community finally popularized it. Very touching score.

  • I just realised after watching this film I have never been ill....

  • Your only 7, give it time.

  • ROFL

  • creepy lol

  • 1:04 OUTSTANDING *-*

  • Comment removed

  • I think the film is just fine the way it is.

  • no that would be rather terrible!!

  • Really? Well if you think so that's fine. I'm not one to disagree unnecessarily.

  • Perfection.

  • I love the Trumpet in the back ground at 1:15.

  • Absolutely spine tingling that trumpet. A great totally underated movie.

  • youre right

  • half an hour after seeing the movie i had a feeling i just saw a piece of art. In my opinion it doesn't matter if he is or he isn't a superhero, what does matter is that because he believed he was made for saving and helping people,he did just that. He is the person we all want to be,that's the comic being stripped from all its commercialisation. the epic and everlasting battle between good and evil. and the question: where do you stand?Think of it,everyone has had such an experience in his life

  • i believe that every person has a form of random goodness in him. When you see someone get beaten, or when you see an old lady get robbed.. you cannot feel anything else but uncomftorable at best. You have a desire to fight for what's good, to battle evil as it were. But some people aren't born that way. In the movie he talks about hero and arch villains, how they are often friends, how they often get along. That's also in real life sometimes the greatest prick is your best friend.

  • everbody has a part in his life where he comes across a turning point in such a way that it involves the path of good or evil. Like a friend selling drugs on the street, and you choise to join or to walk away. Beating people on the street, you fight against the agressor? or try to hit the victim. These are things every person has to deal with in life. that's what this movie is trying to show, in my humble opinion.

  • I find it not that absolute. You cannot meriely choose between fighting the agressor or join him. Whats more likable: everybody can feel a conflict inside him/herself at a moment like the one you mentioned. You want to help, but the thought of danger and that you might get hurt yourself can hold you back. It's a conflict between helping one another or helping yourself by walking away.

  • wow that last sentence blew my mind ( no sarcasm)

  • yeah he is kinda right

  • i hope you understand what i mean

    very kind regards

    lancelot

  • i know, i replied the last few sentences like ten times when i first saw the movie. it blew me away!

  • @LancelotVantuyckom wow man really wel said...bitter truth!

  • @LancelotVantuyckom Indeed. Keep your friends close...

  • @LancelotVantuyckom Wow you've put a lot of thought into this.

  • @LancelotVantuyckom so true, but on a personal note, I certainly hope my best friend doesn't think I'm a prick!!

  • Beautiful song.

  • I dont know why but in the fighting scene where is this soundtrack, my eyes turned watery! :)

  • a few of the tracks in this movie did that to me even if it wasn't a sad part.

  • me too lol

  • citruuuuuuuus

  • This is an amazing song! When he gets out of the pool it's breath taking.

  • My favorite song in the whole soundtrack. Has ass-kicking all over it.

  • your takeing it abit over the top, good symbolism tho....hmmm very good.

  • yea i notice that stuff too. click the related video "unbreakable mr.glass/end title" and look for my comment on it. more symbolism, im very into shyamalan's work

  • U very smart

  • Where can i download this? Itunes only has a different version which is crap.

  • I'm pretty sure you can get it from Amazon, they do a download version I think.

  • The symbolism is really good the sound track made the movie give me a unique feeling when it is added thats the same with all of M Night Shyamalan's movies, they are all unique in their own way

  • james newton howard has worked several flims with shyamalan now, they work great together. james can always find the perfect way to express the emotion through music, thats the beauty of music.

  • I agree Aerith. The music as he is getting out of the pool is awesome. As is the music when he puts the bad dude in the choke hold.

  • gut gut

  • the 1st bit of this tune is SO EFFIN AWESUM wen viewed with that AWESUM scene of him EPICALLY getting up out of the pool!! YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

  • As so many people think it is brilliant , can they not just go for a sequel ? Willis is perfectly cast , music fantastic and the story is so well developed - what more ?

  • Yeah, Hollywood has become trash. All horrible remakes and dumb shit like that.

  • Touches me everytime I listen to this music, wonderfull movie, thanks for uploading...

  • amazing
