The issue of kikuyu women poisoning their husbands is so common especially in kiambu- that it is almost a joke. You only need to ask what happened to so and so and people say - ucio arogirwo ni mtuma wake.
I m not saying that all kikuyu women poison their husbands in fact those who do are in the minority, but practically every village in kiambu has several men who have been poisoned. We can no longer bury this issue in the sand and pretend that it does not happen.
