  • Great song! I'm working it out by ear right now and i can tell you it is going to take a very long time. It will be well worth it though..this is one of my favorites by John.

  • Wowwwwww

  • I like Ocean better but this is a VERY close second.

  • @IcyScythe

    Same for me here

  • This guy is one of my favourite artists, only because his mind-bending guitar work. Including this piece here, which reminds me of the calm and peaceful days on a beach..

  • anyone know where all of john's Indian and Celtic influences come from ?

  • Probably his time in Fremantle, which is a very multicultural/hippy area. There's a state funded club in Fremantle called "Kulcha" where African/Aboriginal/Celtic/etc., artists perform regularly. One only has to hang out in Fremantle for a while to realise that it's a hotbed of 'alternative' thinking. I lived there for around two years, and I literally met ex-Sanyasins ("Orange people") just as readily as I met Italian immigrants and people who'd lived in India, or in communes. Weird place.

  • @bugkillah india and scotland

  • @ncam3831 You beat me to that whitty remark. Touche.
