thank you, wow, yesterday i got up to this part but i had to turn it off in the middle because we had to go somewhere. so today i got up to here, then i went outside to skyrim and the autosaves overwrote where i started off in skyhaven temple, so he didnt tell me the story he just said "isnt it amazing" and ive been searching for like quarter of an hour to find a video like this.

So on the way to Sky Haven Temple, I came across 2 mammoths, 2 giants, and a dragon at once. So I just ran away and hid in a nearby fort. But I noticed Delphine and Esbern were gone but Lydia was still with me. The quest was still active though. Is this bad?

i need some help... Esbern is buged in my game and doesn't interact... i talk to him but no voice adn the subtitle goes too fast to read... he, atm, is at the entrace of sky haven temple and doesn't enter in the temple (in the starting of the cornered rat quest he was walk nearby a windmill near Riften, a bit to west)... i already finished companion's, theves' and civil war quests... hope u can help me...

I NEED SOMEONE'S HELP, PLEASE!!! Esbern just stands in that corner before he lights the coals....when you speak to him, you either reply "I just want to know how to kill Alduin" or "it is. Carry on."...HOWEVER!!!! no matter what i say, he only speaks about having to find the correct tablet and doesn't do anything, Delphine is nowhere to be found either so the sequence will not continue...the mission titled "Forbidden Legend" won't update itself as well, any assistance would be appreciated.

Can someone help? I finished this quest (I'm on Elder Knowledge). Are Delphine and Esbern supposed to stay at this place permanently, so I can find them? I went back and they weren't there. Maybe I didn't look enough because it was night, are they in a different room? HELP ME!

the npcs wont follow me through the door to Alduins wall. they start to walk away from it and i dont get this cutscene. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

@CH1LLH Yhea, it's probably cause you have explored the temple before... The npcs are stuck at the first puzzle you've already solved, right ? It seems there's no proper way to solve this thing, except whit a console command which make you skip this part of the quest and set you to the next stage of the mainquest. Or you can just wait for a patch or the release of the consctruction set in a few weeks.

If Delphine attacks you then take her down, whilst she's down run away and hide. Once hidden wait for 48 hours, then she should be fine :) worked for me.

i've got a mate who's level 9 and he's done this quest and has the achievement ..but im level 67 and this quest isnt in my journal and i dont have the achievement and i've only got the dark brotherhood quests and misc ones in my journal so i dont have a clue how to do the storyline. can anyone help me?

@liams8464 The quest line for this comes after you've gone to retrieve the horn for the Greybeards. There will be a note in that dungeon, saying to come meet someone at Riverwood. Go there, and this chain will start. :)

@Murgulstudio Thanks for that but i've already got that note and spoken to delphine etc and killed the dragon that alduin raises from the buriial

I did exactly what I did when I first met Esbern down in the dungeon and had the closed door glitch - ran back to the start of the dungeon and exited the door, then re-entered to find the door open. Did the same thing with this - ran up the stairs and exited the temple, then re-entered. It doesn't fix the dialogue glitch but at least gets you past it and onto the next quest.
