Man playing PS3 Move Sports Champions - Table Tennis

Sports Champion is a cool game but at first i thought its so lame but its not,it has 6 sports/games in the Disk/The Game there are DiskGolf, Gladiator(Fighting), Archery, Beach Volley Ball, Bocce, And Table Tennis. Its kinda hard to play if its your first time and you'll get good after some practice..

So its worth it to buy,and its usable as for some Exercise...

I think you should know how to play this in real world first, then you can enjoy the simulated experience. Otherwise, if you just don't know the feel of knocking the ball, how the angle will affect the spinning... there will be nothing coming out of your mind while you wave a fanny stick in the air.

Simulation is pretty real in this game, which in turn makes some newbies think it is much worse wii...

@BsilverMbulletW The only problem I find in this game is serving. Serving the ball in this game is so unrealistic. It's also very hard and I'm actually really good at real table tennis.

no, atleast when u have a controller u feel like ur holding to something, if u just move in the air u look like a complete dumbass, see, when u for exemple drive a car u hold the wheel, and thats the controller i dont know if u understand.. Kinect is kinda retarded, and is expensive as fuck :)

I dont see the point holding it against the move for not tracking your legs for dance and sports games...I also dont see the point of holding it against the kinect for not having buttons or analog sticks for FPS or RPG games.

the only real competitor imo to the PSMove is the Wii. the Kinect is really doing its own thing this time round.

The wii did not invent the motion controller playstation did they had lots of prototypes about making the motion controller back what? 2002/2003 hell they prob had a motioncontroler. Tell me 1 game that looks more funthan Socom 4 or Sorcery that is on the kinect and uses kinect exclusively.

Im not trying to down play kinect, but there just isnt many games you can make with just a camera. Sony did it with JUST the eyetoy back on the PS2, and all the games turned out to be kinda shitty. Be prepared to be waving your hands like maniac.

Kinect is really out to do its own thing. Its not trying to do RPG or FPS or any of that stuff. It will just use its normal controllers in these instances or bring out wands like the wii or move to silve moving in 3D space.

Kinect however, is going to murder the fitness, dance, casual games market which move is not well suited to, so because the two products really are going in two different directions, I dont see the point comparing the Move to the Kinect.

Yea i know. I really wasn't trying make fun of it, just trying to piss off a fanboy. Kinect is going to kill in terms of sales. Soccer moms all over the world are going to get this for the exercise games.

I'll always welcome new types of input devices to games. So, i guess we'll see how the kinect does.

just found out that brain age is coming to Kinect..every kid in the whole world now has the ultimate lie, being education, to buy an xbox. Brain Age helped move DS's in a big way, so i think that Kinect is gonna blow up DS style not Wii style.

Sorcery on move was absolute mint...Harry Potter for kinect was absolute poo. Wands (or something similar) are gonna have to come out for Kinect to go hardcore

lets remember that Kinect is only the start, who knows where the end is!

i remember when i was in 3rd grade, which was 7 years ago, or around 3rd grade i got this power rangers game where u put something on ur head, and you connect it to your arms and legs and you fight the bad guys that way, neither sony nor microsoft nor nintendo can sue each other

Well it's not actually "one to one, real time motion capture" is it!!

@000TQ000 Closer than anything else yet... People can move limbs VERY FAST, this is 1 to 1 in that it copies your every move... The delay also comes (and still noticably small) From a camera, shooting a 60 hrtz screen on a system that has to process the information... Very impressive imo.. Check out sorcery, or the tech demos that really show off the 1 to 1 capability.

@Clyaton Don't get me wrong, I'm all for move....guess you could call me a PS3 "Fanboy" but this isn't as good as the hype, sorcery does look like a good game though, but the guy playing sorcery still moves faster than on the screen....and the wizzard kid's arm gets a bit confused sometimes (same as wii) The tech demos are the only vids that show the true 1 to 1 motion control...but they aren't games! I just hope they make it better before release.

@000TQ000 Actually, it looks to me like the kid's arm only gets slightly off in a couple spots (take into account running, when the character does motions you don't have to do) and it doesn't affect the actual shooting or gameplay anyway and this isn't out til 2011! But anyway, if they can do it in a tech demo, they can do it in a game. The only thing that makes someone a 'fanboy' is if they fail to see the good in any other system or game for that system, don't sell yourself short
