This is one of my favorite places to go for yummy treats. They have Live music on Friday and Saturday evenings (guitar, piano, violin...whatever the highly musically inclined locals have to share). The food is always excellent, but you have to be there for conversation because the service, while always extra friendly, is also quite slow. You should bring cash to pay if you have something scheduled afterward. I'm hoping to go tomorrow and spend a few hours there!
That bathroom is hilarious -- you kind of miss the mannequin in the corner and after you've done your business you sort of notice it and it freaks me out every time. Even when I expect it.
Well, I have NO idea what they're saying, but the very delicious, very haunted Rimsky Korsakoffeehouse in Portland, Oregon IS the coolest place this side of the Mississippi, and you can definitely order your dessert and cappuccino in English (or Italian, or Francais, or Espanol, or try Tagalog...?)
