  • Whether God is or is not,

    That I cannot say.

Though beauty pulses through me as my life's blood,

That I can say, though not with words.

    Through ecstasy's gateway I dance,

With silence in the gaps between my "i" 's.

    No need for anything,

Say, this moment, that stretches endlessly.

  • Please have a look at my Rumi video on my page

This is a breath taking video..,

  • I have been playing this since it was posted in 2007. Never gets old. I'm so in love..

  • "~((((O))))~

  • Say im you!!

  • Wow this was amazing :) Thanks for uploading :)

  • I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School based on the principles of the Universe: 真 Truthfulness 善 Compassion 忍 Forbearance.

Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China. People are being killed, tortured, put into concentration camps and have organs harvested from live people, simply because of their belief. More than 3400 Falun Gong practitioners have died at the hands of CCP in the past 12 years.

    faluninfo(.)net

  • @Xiaolian7 I am sorry to say that I've heard of this horrible persecution of your practices. Thanks for stopping by. My heart goes out to you.

  • @Xiaolian7 orry its a sect of the worst kind...has nothing to do with buddhism sorry to disapoint you

  • THIS IS NONSENSE!!! THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN REALLY BE FREE IS TO FREE YOURSELF OF RELIGION AND IRRATIONAL SPIRITUALITY. WE CANNOT FLEE REALITY. WE HAVE TO FACE IT RATIONALLY. RELIGIONS AND SPIRITUAL CONCEPTS PRAY ON THE LOST AND EMOTIONALLY WEAK PEOPLE. AN IRRATIONAL LIFE WILL BRING YOU NOTHING BUT CONFUSION AND AN ENDLESS QUEST FOR SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT EXIST. ALL WE CAN DO IS TO EXPLORE LIFE. CHEERS

  • @dauseraddict God is beyond logic. We are prisoners of our mind, locked inside our own small world. We're a tiny speck of His Creation, not able to see even a zillionith part of the whole. It may be irrational, as you say, but it is not a futile quest---this seeking after God.

Exploring life, gaining an understanding of ourselves, is the quest. Once you accept the concept of Infinite Grace, you are free.

  • @rahmama2

For all those who peddle the false idea labeled as "freedom"..

    IT DOESN'T EXIST!

Freedom is merely a concept; an impossible concept, at that! A concept impossible to ever materialize for any of the creations!

All things amongst the creations are subject to laws, rules, regulations, limits, needs, desires, and so on.. and all of these things are reasons why you will NEVER be free!

"Freedom" is one of the oldest scams ever sold to mankind!

You're better off a slave of allah!

  • @dauseraddict ,so have you stopped looking? Stopped questioning the obvious? Who or what am I? If I am only supposed to only live for a certain period of time to eat ,drink ,do some ordinary work and be content, why then so much more was given to me ? Everything created in this universe has a purpose, what was the purpose of all these extra intelligence, ideas and thoughts that I have? Do you have two wings to fly? Good Luck!

  • @dauseraddict ...rubbish...Rumi was a Muslim

  • "By day I praised you and never knew it. By night I stayed with you and never knew it. I always thought I was me, but No! I was YOU and never knew it." Rumi

We are all Divine in essence; there is only one religion: loving one another and wishing well for those who hate us.

  • @irajkhodadoost wow thats a strong statement to wish well for those who hate us..i know we reach such a level in enlightenment that hating becomes difficult only love for all exists..wishing well for the one who hates us does come along but will that change the hater?i hope perhaps one day it happens...the one who hates me will love me..

  • @irajkhodadoost I knew I would see you here eventually, my friend. Like souls tend to find each other in the Rumi's words.

  • VIVE L'AMOUR!

  • This was really beautiful. Thanks!

  • Rumi speaks with a voice that is more intimately mine than the one I call my own. It makes me ache and yearn. Thank you, Rhamama2 for posting this.

  • The Journey begins when we place our feet on the Infinite moment...Then we are transformed by the Power that ignites the worlds with the spark of existence. We ask ourselves,we ask those around us who we are our whole life,

Yet our very existence is the proof of the only One that exists. We never existed we were only the reflection of the Ocean...

  • can anyone tell me about the music used here? it is beautiful! together with the poem and video - beautiful work!

  • I love the music, does anyone knows the name/composer? where I can find it?

    Thanks for posting, beautful!

  • Delightful composition to accompany the ecstatic and mystic poetry of Rumi. Thank you also for the comment about the universality of the message.

  • Beautiful words, left me speechless. Thanks to my Indian heritage & upbringing, I can relate and connect.Hopefully someday I will be able to live these words.

  • Persian empire was the greatest empire and Iranians have the best poets on earth

  • thank you for putting this up

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • whatch this about rumi

    watch?v=JqkX2vNZgkI

  • Why does Rumi's poem have such a power and energy in them? Every single time i read them i have shivers, and i have no idea why. What is the secret of pure art, wisdom and secret in those single words written together? Hope i will realize it one day, however time it'll takes.

  • recently published my book and if you're into Gibran's messages about humanity, or other writers like Thoreau or Orwell, you will most probably enjoy the messages in my poetry too. Specifically those of Part 1, and Part 3. I would appreciate it so much if you could take a second to check it out...

  • The way of love is not a subtle argument.

    The door there is devastation.

Birds make great sky-circles of their freedom.

    How do they learn it?

They fall, and falling, they're given wings.

  • Greatest Afghan Poet. Rumi Bakhli

    God Bless Afghanistan.

  • @Mortaza94 Afghans want to own him; Persians want to contain him; Turks want to possess him... But he said unequivocally, "I have put duality aside" and claimed one religion and one world and one humanity ... LEARN FROM HIM!

  • @irajkhodadoost

afghans dont want to own him my dear!

    Sufi for a Month.

Sufi for a Month is a spiritual and cultural immersion experience into the sufi way and the universal spiritual teachings of Mevlana Rumi.

    It's a unique experience I assure you!

  • @rahmama2 amin!

  • WOWL

  • I have kept this poem in my favorites now for years. I must say that I am not muslim. This poem though, is so very close to what I believe in my own inner being as a christian. It is wonderfully beautiful, and if people could take the words into their heart, there would be a lot less bitterness and strife across the world.

  • @camber07 Thank you for your heartfelt comment. At the core we are all from the same Divine Being, whatever one wishes to call our Creator.

Sorry it took so long to approve your comment.

  • @camber07

Its not the religion thats gonna take you to the divine . Not any idea controlled by the Mass Hypnotists is Gonna Send you to GOD .EXCEPT true love . EXcept the fact that to become the part of the limitless . You first have to become Nothing . People Branding themselves as muslims christians and hindus and jews and yet fighting each other are insulting the divine cuz HE is the ONE to be found inside the hearts .

  • This is truly remarkable! Wow. Namaste.

  • wonderful ......

  • I WILL SEE A STAR WITHOUT A NAME BECAUSE I KNOW IT:S NAME> JON

  • IS very much true LIGHT ,.. IS REAL LIGHT

  • I don't really understand what he's talking about

  • 40 people have no heart!

  • @kurtkara1207 What do you mean?

  • @rahmama2

    40 poeple voted they don't like it ... that's what i meant :)

  • You should see some of the comments I have to delete because they are too hateful and I don't want people to come here and get bummed out by heartless people. This is a place for love! @kurtkara1207

  • @rahmama2 I'm glad to hear. Often people do not understand what spirituality is - and have no understanding of love... Rumi knew this. We are fortunate to fly on his wings... Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece of music, pictures and poem.

  • @kurtkara1207 Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

  • @rahmama2 Trust me, a connected person will see what is hidden and will silence what is noise. We all see what a Masterpiece is this video, is sublime. What really matters is what IS, which is Pure Conscience, Pure Light and this is what this video incarnates. The rest, is makeup. Good work. NAMASTE.

  • @rahmama2

What I mean is : 40 people presse "I do not like" :)

  • A person is spiritual when he/she is passionate of this mysterious life, mystery is raveled when the mind is free. This poem is definitely from a free mind, i'm inspired :-)...for a moment i forgot all my conditions in my mind, i think i felt love ;-)

  • Moved to tears, tears of joy, happiness, peace and Love.

    We are all One

    Namaste %^)

  • If you don't fill your day with love

    than what to live for?...

If love is not filing your heart and overflowing it with its presence, what is the world around?

  • I have uploaded a video explaining the Mathnawi of Mawlana Rumi by someone who is a gnostic and understands its language and metophors.

  • Rumi's poems have no value. I read them every day .

  • @qfwfqpnk0 If you are honest in saying that, that is probably the most valuable comment on this video. What rumi had cannot be given or taken by anyone. What he was talking about cannot be copied or immitated. Love implies two. where ever there is division there is conflict. So the love Rumi implied is not the love we think of AT ALL. It is the 'I' that has to be dead in order for there to be love.

  • @qfwfqpnk0

if they have no value to you, then why do you keep returning to them?

  • Tocar nuestro ser interior. Poema sufi

  • suffi is one of persian Mysticisms. and it has to main different parts. happy suffies and sad suffies. differrent love goals. some think of gaining be loved is extreme of love and some another think never-gain-it and always being in way in extreme. the first are more happy suffies and second are sad and both enjoy their love more than all pleasure on earth and skies . rumi and hafez and attar are 3 famous persian poets with poems of love to God

Allah says "So, Verily, with Every Difficulty, There is RELIEF:" (Al-Inshirah 94:5-6

  • Please none of this here. Sufism- is Islam. None of the Pantheism here. The poem is talking about how humans are connected to Nature, NOT GOD! Circle of life is what Rumi- Ji is talking about- not comapring souls to God. Thats not it. Please none of this here, sorry. But what your saying is anyone can be god and muslims don't accept that ever, thanks, but no. Sorry again, but many people are already as it is, confused about Sufism- no more confusion please :)

  • @thekillerose Mansour Al Halaj, one of the Sufi's greatest masters, said "ana al hak" or "I am God" because when your self/ego dies nothing remains but God...We live in God, we walk in God, wherever you go there is God...This whole universe is God...God is not a person up in the sky or somewhere else in the universe...He is simply the essence of all things, the timeless time and placeless place...and yes we are God in the sense that nothing exists in life but God or Godliness....

  • @Alaaeddinebarakat are you high on something

  • @oANWARoo Yes! High on Love.

  • @rahmama2 my allah forgive you

  • @thekillerose Another thing I'd like to tell you...Sufism is not Islam, rather Islam is part of Sufism...The first step in Sufism is Islam, and then comes the Iman, and finally comes the Ihsan...Sufism has existed a long time ago before Islam did...Jesus was a sufi and so is Muhammad, Ali, Moses, Buddha, Lao Tzu...The names change, but the essence is one...Sufis are the people of Al Safaa or "Purity, sincerity".So yes my fellow traveler, we are all one and we are all connected to the beloved one

  • @Alaaeddinebarakat

Thanks for the good thoughts. Please view my poem, "what we believe!" if you wish.

  • I cannot live without this! I know the words by heart and I listen to this music all the time. Oh Rumi, you give hope to the hopeless and for that I thank you! (rahmama2 you know I love you!)

  • HU!

  • masha allah

  • That's absolutely brilliant ... I'm in love with that ..

The words are so deep and powerful...

  • "Jeeva brahmaiva na parah"ayam atma brahma..Aham Brahmasmi .. The soul and God is not different ..The soul is Brahmam( GoD) I am the GOD ..Sage Sankara The hindu Sage of 6th century

  • @prachait sorry, no offence. But this is not mixing God with ANY soul. God is a divine being- Muslims don't believe that God can ever be human- or as less significant being. otherwise anyone could be God then. Which is Shirk! This poem is about People referring with nature not GOD. Nature- the circle life- NOT GOD!

thank you :) please don't mix it up again. We already have people confused about Sufis- please no more of Pantheism :)

  • @thekillerose Picture yourself on the receiving end of such a message...someone lectures you about your understanding of God.

  • Thank You for this most beautiful and peaceful Poem.

  • Eternity Theme by Eleni Karaindrou.. :)

  • First of all, good job man !

    then,

Rumi thoughts are for everyone no doubt! as he says that clearly that "Who ever you are come, this way has noting with hopelessness.

but he was spoke Farsi-i Dari, he was from Afghanistan Nnd in "Masnavi Manavi" he directly says that i am talking of Quran, and also in "Diwan Shams" he talks about being Muslim. so not even something to argue about.

    GOD IS GREAT!

  • I am You

  • lovely video...

  • Rumi's poems is very deep. And someone like me will find it hard to understand. But there is this secret of creation that he is trying to convey. And only the enlightened slaves of Allah can see it.

  • @TurquoiseTheoryProds Such separation where there is none! Yes....go to the deep and reflect on that.

  • lovely edited. thank you

  • Blessed be His Name Forever! Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem!

  • Those who are arguing in this clip, they haven't grown their feathers yet. Let them be!

  • wHoly

  • Splendid.. Amazing the way it touches the soul.. and indeed Rumi speaks to and for everyone, no matter their religious and cultural backgrounds..

  • May Allah guide whom who search for the path.

  • @lemuriavi Allahumma, Ameen. . . Rumi is like a pure innocent child, you cannot hate her.

  • Thank you for this amazing video. Eleni's music and Rumi's words are such a great compilation.

Now whoever does not know about Rumi, should definitely read this poem and see how peaceful and grateful he is!

    Love & Peace

  • Allah? God? =)

Do you still believe in your society?

  • Love the strings, and flute follows. It is I that tells this narrative ...

  • Music and words. Nice marriage.

  • yes.look behind the apparents and you will see we are all the same with the same desire. just put away your religion (any kind)and think what make you really happy.i think to reach our next level in the eyes of darwin is to leave behind that tiran God. and yes you are a reflection of mine.if you dont belive me make a journi in your mind and dont be afraid dont stop until you meet God.you will see what you gonna find is a great revelation ,POWER, LOVE,PACE and a really nice madness

  • @DerbeDeiuL pretty confusing and contradictory thoughts.

  • @rahmama2 @DerbeDeiuL what D said made sense. The first time he/she mentions God, he/she means an external, biblical God; the second he/she just means our true nature. The reference to Darwin is about mankind evolving beyond an old testament view of God to the understanding of the God Rumi writes about.

  • @rahmama2 . many have a perspective of what God is from a conventional perspective, but the only truth that can be trusted is that which is found out through direct experience. meaning, as you start to HONESTLY examine the world you exist in, the concept of God shifts. and no longer does God hold the same thought in your head. all too often people are rigid in their own identity. God is not mystical. God is not more then the act of you reading this. that is true realization

  • @rahmama2 do not judge, trust

  • @rahmama2 You missed the point entirely, if you are confused, that does not mean that others are. The writer struggled a bit with English, I have NO Farsi, so I respect his or her ability to communicate in MY language. The message is identical to that of the original Christians, Buddhists, and just about any religion in the world before it became a tool of the power hungry. There is NO contradiction.

  • @WVFarm Exactly! That is the beauty of it! It's all so connected and unifying if we get past labels and illusions of separation. What a tragedy we brought upon ourselves when we saw our brother as separate and even lesser than ourselves....

  • Get upto date with the sense of oneness, idea of nothingness - singularity to duality. How life maybe possible. E=mc2. Basically everything is onething in the deeper reality. Look at the work of Deepak Chopra, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, Buddha, etc.

  • @rahmama2 :)

  • @DerbeDeiuL

    I agree, Amen, Namsté.

From Holland with love, and peace to all.
