Wow, I love the look of the version with the clod wheels on it. That's what I'm hoping to do with my F-350. Could you provide a list of parts and how-to?
Well, you'll need to move the steering servo just above the front axle so it can have direct contact with the tires, making it easier to steer. And you need 4 erevo turn buckles for the back, and 4 short turn buckles for the front (unless you want to have longer wheel base like i did, you can have both front and rear the same length.)
And you need cheap 2.2 wheels that is used as spacers inside the 2,8wheels of the clods and glue them. Or you can buy integy's wheels wideners for 35$. That's it!
The turn buckles are used as 4link suspension which is better for this setup. Remember to use very stiff suspension shocks set bcuz the truck will weigh too much. Use smaller pinion to reduce the over gearing (i used 12t 32p).
But keep in mind that you'll be stressing the diffs, the 2 drive shafts and the steering servo very much.
both are great =D I took the hilux because at that time it was cheaper than the f-350 by only 5$
but keep in mind that with the hilux, you'll need at least a set of 2.2s to make the truck look right.. the f-350 has a descent look right out of the box =D, and the back tub can be flipped backward, where the hilux can't do this! but the hilux body is classical back from 87 i think or older so it;s really up to you and you can change the bodies any time later with some slight modification
im deciding, i want a hilux cuz my dad and i go hunting and i love to bash rc cars kuz im 13, so im gettin a hilux and painting it white or camo. white kuz my dads old chevy is white, the truck we hunt in, but ill make it camo, and get the scale rifle and tent XD, haha, plus we go to the beach often so i can bash in the sand
OMFG hey, i just noticed, tat other ed and black truck is the EMAXX! its waterproofed too! it comes waterproof, and in my r/c magazine it shows it driving in a lake and under water, try it out! post a vid plz LOL
yes it's the new water proofed emaxx indeed. But it's my cousine's and he's father bought it for him.. So he's afraid maybe too much that it won't get little dirt, then how about emerging it in water =_=..
He surely didn't discover what an e-maxx is truly capable of.. I will get an e-revo later, don't worry. And surely will post up a video of it :).. Stay in touch..
I bought mine for like 440$ from tower xD. And sorry, I can't do that, since my brother is looking forward to buy it from me as soon as I get another truck :(

It's deadly fun to play with! I've tried a brushless emaxx with sizzling speed that can jump over a 5 meters high pile of sand xD, nothing can beat the feeling of going over obstacles the hard way in the hilux, believe me :)
Yes it was :).. But unfortuently, the little steering block was having too much pressure on its own trying to hold the huge tires. So I took them away :)
