@19pink19 same with me first time seeing snow up there. when my grandparents where looking for a cottage it was in the winter time. when they finally found ours the snow was so high. that it fully buried it.
It is true! Everyone was laughing, supervising, and helping, except for the drivers in a hurry! The important thing is the safety. People just understand that everything stops!
Port Carling is lovely.
Of course, I have never been there in the winter but the summer is fantastic.

Oh wow. You'd think the stores and such would be inaccessible with that much snow. I heard from a relative that recently the snow melted though.

It is meltling, but there is much slush. The roads themselves are fabulous in most parts of our region. The lake hasn't melted!
