@BlackGoose2 Theres a actually a huge difference between the civilian casualties in Fallujah and those in Georgia, the civilians in Georgia were killed on purpose and for tactical reasons. The ones killed in Fallujah were due to mishits from air strikes and other weaponry, learn the difference. The Russians are extremely well known for purposely killing civilians in order to win a conflict, look what they did in Georgia, Chechnya, the Ukraine, etc. Theyre hands are soaked in blood.

And yes, the difference is absolute about culture but you must not forget about the governmental aspects as well. One nation with free-thinking and free-speaking people is of course going to be more understand to the plight of man as opposed to that of a nation where free-thinking and free-speaking is almost completely banned from public life as it was in the USSR.

The USSR had proven that they were not trust worthy and that they were dangerous, now do not be mistaken I am NOT attacking the Russian people. I have the utmost respect for the Russian people and culture, I do NOT like the Soviet Union on the other hand. Also, how could you not expect the USSR to have a shield put up around it when it was surrounded by so many US allies?

@muffinmanxxx321 what I was mostly pointing at, at least subconsciously, was the Mc Carthist era, when the facts about the spanish civil war were deliberately hushed down in order of defaming any and every idea of communism to have contributed to something positive. And those trends continue in some places in US still. Concerning the natives, seriously, is there ANY agreement that US has signed with them and that it has managed to uphold for long? I seriously would like to know.
