at that old desk they had space to have jerry standing but at the new one due to space limitations and weird camera angels they can only to a MAX 4 shot at the desk. the old studio has way more space to maneuver cameras even though the desk was defiantly small than the new one in the State Street studio
yeah there are some things I don't like about that new studio. I like the skyline backdrop but it needs to extend all the way around not just on the left side.
Yeah they only show it on the 10pm newscast. I'm not sure why. Occasionally they forget to pull the blue panel away. They need to do it on both sides so the whole background is a skyline.
It used to be channel 7 news now, its the Cheryl Burton
fashion and jewelery show,the outfit she wore on thurs night was just weird... John Drury and Jerry and mark was the good times.

Me too. I get tired of seeing the people outside waving. They need to have the skyline shots back and give the closing some variety.

@jmsweat It happened regularly on the old set, but only for promos on the new set, seeing as it only is designed to accomodate 4 anchors.

Doesn't that skyline backdrop only feature on the 10pm newscast? On all other broadcasts there's just a plain blue background. What's up with that?
