  • Who is the artist performing?

  • I have seen some claims that in English the Yod should sound Jod, just as Jersusalem and Jew have the J sound. Any opinions on this, I am seeking the correct pronunciation of Abrahams/Moses God from the scriptures

  • FUI SOU E SEREI AMEMM.

  • I think this is fantastic. If I was the Almighty I wouldn't care what you called me if it sounded this beautiful and it was sung from your heart out of pure Love.

  • @Jennalogical

Amein and Amein to That, and Even HalleluYAH HalleluYAH, and just maybe if its from the Heart then He will teach us His Name, so we can Rely on Him more and More and the World really becomes quite distant. : )

  • Whoa whoa.. Who is the artist? This was awesome.

  • I heard an old jewish rabbi said the name comes from the sound of inhaling (Yah) and exhaling (Vav), which is a reason why the name should not be spoken out loud, but it is formed by the sound of breathing in and out. Go figure, I don't know if this is some kinf of later kabbalistic addition but it kind of makes sense although I understand the hebrew letters and the way as I presented them may be incorrect.

  • Love and peace reign on Earth forever

  • Right or wrong, tha

    t was beautiful!

  • I get confused with Yahweh, Yahuwah, and Yahauh... which is right??

  • @churchcamp101 Actually, the Hebrew letters Yud-Hay-Vav-Hay are pronounced "Adonoi"

  • @perstaere Actually Yod Hey Vav Hey other wise known as the Tetragrammaton is well known to be Yahweh YHVH. Not Adonai ~ Shalom Aleichem ~

  • @kcforJC247 Well known by whom? Crertainly not by scholars of Judaism and the Hebrew language, nor by rabbis. The letters were pronounced "adonoi" since for thousands of years before Jesus was born. The literal pronounciation expounded upon in this video comes from profound ignorance.

  • @perstaere Well actually it is well known by scholars and rabbis. Any one who studies Hebrew knows that Adonai in Hebrew is not Yod Hey Vav Hey it is (alef dalet nun yod). I learned this from studying Hebrew, and my rabbi who has studied Hebrew for many years and knows it very well and I have studied Hebrew for quit some time myself now too.

  • @kcforJC247 I have studied biblical hebrew for 8 years, and have translated portions of the Torah. I read the weekly Torah portions in Hebrew. You are listening to the wrong people. Walk into any genuine synagogue in the WORLD, and you will hear the correct pronounciation in the prayers. Ask any rabbi ordained in a genuine yeshiva. Your "rabbi" could not possibly be part of the Jewish Reform, Conservative, Orthodox, or Reconstructionist movements, the only genuineJewish traditions on earth.

  • @perstaere But I can see why this would be confusing considering they say adonai to avoid using the Name of the Almighty in vain. This is why it is translated "LORD" out of respect for the Holy Name (the Tetragrammaton) of the Creator. Any scholar, Jewish or not that are serious scholars well versed in Hebrew, Judaism, and the Bible know this, as well as any serious student of Hebrew, Judaism and Jewish tradition know this.

  • @perstaere You can even Google "adonai" and no where will you find a true scholar of Hebrew or Judaism or any rabbi that knows what they're talking about say that the Hebrew letters Yod Hey Vav Hey means adonai. But don't take my word for it study Hebrew for your self. Shabbat Shalom~

  • @kcforJC247

Amein and Amein to that, ie Yahweh is the closest we are ever going to get in any western tongue.Yeshua is the Door........The Only Door.......To The Only Father: ) @perstaere, They have Rejected The Only Way to YHWH the 1's who follow the Traditions of Men. Eg Yeshau said For my YOKE is pleasant and my burden is light.” Please, ask a Rabbi what that really means in there traditions, Yeshua spoke with Authority Amein and Amein. keep reading Torah u will find Yeshua too.

  • YAHVAH

  • @lukeous69 why is it so controversial i dont get it?what do the jew scholars say?i read that the first toput vocals mistakenly said is yehovah and later they said is yahveh

  • Meditation, prayer, fasting, submission and surrender are the keys to living a life of victory.. and the weapons of our warfare it's the Word of Yod Heh Ve He... come on now.. know Him by His name, Pray according to His names.. Halle lu Yah!

  • i wonder why others call it yahweh or yhwh

  • @unknownalien55 because it's the way you pronounce the word which the letters spell. you wouldn't pronounce God "gee oh dee", you pronounce it "God." Same principle here, the hebrew letters YHVH sound like "Yahweh" when you say it as a word.

  • @redlightdeath I agree in the sense that the tetragramaton would be like sounding the letters but agree with Johnathan Goldman(musician and author) that in lieu of Yahweh..that it is close but sounds like a proper name but that the letters were actually tonal and pronounced EEEEE AAAAAH-oooo-aaaay (as if sung) sound it out that way and it sounds beautiful and can align the chakras with it's vibration...try it! the vibration will be strong

  • Remember.,let us not take the Lord's name in vain, meaning we do not make a joke of it, hold the true name in reverence. Only speak it with revererence, or remain is silence.
