In English class we had to write a story envolving the people in the pictures that were on the board. My teacher went through them saying their names. There was a picture of rainbow brite and I yelled "Oh my god! Its Rainbow Brite!!!!!!" and everyone was like O . o

@jhonnetta I know this is meant to be a joke, but child's play predates this by a few years. Rainbow Brite actually came from greeting cards IIRC.

@MVillani1985 I'm not talking about where rainbow brite comes from she was out before childs play the movie childs' play came out in the late 80's and rainbow brite came out in the early 80'smaybe even the late 70's either way I feel that the producers stole at least the color concepts from rainbow brite too create a good look for the good guy doll. @jhonnetta Rainbow Brite is actually mid-80s. I thought Child's Play was older than mid to late 80s for some reason. Maybe I'm thinking of a similar movie that was already around and since I was fairly young in the 80s, maybe my brain accidentally blended the two.
