the point is they did, and they ahve a life subscrive to elder srolls games.

  • @TomBoss123

If i had a kid that day I would

  • @TomBoss123 I would too

  • @wyvernrider100 i hope someone did that and moved to Norway

  • @wyvernrider100 They fucking did it...

  • @wyvernrider100 Its kinda to late don't you think?

  • epic

  • @flanchuga it probably is done on purpose, the dragon language was crafted specifically for this game, and it was made by people who speak english. not too suprising it rhymes the same way in both languages

  • they actually sing what is put in as the lyrics but it is created in a way so you can hear the english version too without it making the song bad... vary clever from them, ohh and yes it is a language and a real one at that. they took it from one of the oldest existing languages in the world and put it in the game

  • @malakai2012 Which language would that be?

  • @TomBoss123 i believe it is called dragon tongue but can't seem to find the wiki page i found it unfortunately

  • @TomBoss123 Thu'um, perhaps?

  • @TomBoss123 he is wrong about the language, it is a made up draconic language but it works and rhymes witht he english translation aswell, check out bethesdas latest video: the sounds of skyrim!

  • @TomBoss123 It's Dragon, duh.

  • @TomBoss123 Old norse

  • @TomBoss123 dragon tounge

  • @TomBoss123 i think it's called Dragon Latin

  • @malakai2012 It's their own language, they invented that. It's called "dragon language".

  • @malakai2012 Wich language is that?

  • The first two lines in english fit so perfectly with the song it almost makes me think it's on purpose, though the rest it's kinda harder to fit in and make it sound nicely.

  • Yes all lyrics are correct SPOILER, dont read if you havent decoded this song -------------- Translated Version: Dragonborn, dragonborn By his honor is sworn To keep evil forever at bay And the fiercest foes rout When they triumph’s shout Dragonborn for your blessing we pray And the scrolls have fortold Of black wings in the cold That when brothers wage war, come unfurled ALDUIN Bane of kings Ancient shadow unbound With a hunger to swallow the world.
  • DOVAKHIIIIIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ Everyone talking about the lyrics: The Dragon speak lyrics are the actual ones being sung, but they were intentionally made to sound like real words in English.

  • The second verse (not-sung): Ahrk fin kel lost prodah Do ved viing ko fin krah Tol fod zeymah win kein do jun kruziik vokun staadnau voth aan bahlok wah diivon fin lein And the scrolls have foretold Of black wings in the cold That when brothers wage war come unfurled Alduin bane of kings ancient shadow unbound with a hunger to swallow the world When you solve this part, you can guess that Alduin (which isn't in the translation key) must be the name of the ancient shadow aka Skyrim's Big Bad
  • Ok, did the translation myself, though it in fact guarantees nothing. You'll have to make various assumptions to be able to conclude anything at all from the. Since we assume that the puzzle was intended for a general public, as well as being slightly usable as an alphabet, I guess I'm justified in making uniqueness and closed world assumptions on the characters. Also, it definitely is Mahfaeraak, I still hear them sing mahvevaraak.

  • I'm hearing them sing mahvevaraak, not mahfaeraak. Though it may be simply a matter of the difficulty of rendering a draconic tongue in our alphabet.

Either I'm hearing it wrong, transliterating it wrong, or mahvevaraak (or similar) should be used in the lyrics.

  • @Gijsbertth Mahvevarrak vs Mahfaeraak. V and F are the actually the same sound in human languages, albeit one is Voiced (V) put your hand to your voicebox on your neck and feel your the vibration, versus F which is voiceless (there won't be any vibrations). You are putting your front teeth on your bottom lip and blowing the air out of through the small opening. Thus why the do indeed sound the same. Because you're hearing the song in a choral style song, that's why the F maybe become voiceless.
