no way! the best airlines in my opinion are Virgin for the best seat service and entertainment, BA for food, china eastern airlines for the goodies, AA for the flight attendants be being very professional
Emirates: yes ; JAL: No. I'm been on JAL for Tokyo to Okinawa flight but those stewardess can't even speak English properly. I have to use "Nihon" to ask what I want.
English is a must language for flight stewardess. Example: Malaysia Airlines only except those stewardess capable to speak Malay, Mandarin and English fluently. I hope JAL can train their steward to speak English properly.

Why American decided to get rid of this EFFECTIVE and COMFORTABLE configuration in busniess class Ill never know. The new business class just looks awful. Why couldnt they have just improved upon the current configuration with more comfortable seating and aesthetically appealing seats, and installed the video screens on a swivel unit of the armrests like a lot of the international carriers do. Old school business class all the way!
The old sheepskin & leather seats they had (and kept on their 767-200s in some formuntil they upgraded them to a blander but still comfy looking all-leather seats) were great. If they had an updated version of that, I'd be happy.
Yeah I agree. They should update the flagship route 767-200 first cabins to the existing blue leather and cloth theme and seat design they have on the 737 and 767-300s. That would be awesome. I heard they have already started replacing the business first seats on the 767-300s (the two class configuration) to the new lie flat seat which Im not really happy about for many reasons.

Yeah this is the earlier models around 96-98
The newer ones have the shell seats , that go flat back , its alot nicer

Airlines ranking are judged and doing some research by Skytrax. However Virgin was a low-cost carrier not a full frills airlines.

Yes, it is very expensive to NRT. First was empty as well. There weren't a lot of people upgrading is why it is mostly empty.
